Here is some details of Darmora Ji.
Satyam was born in a small village in Uttarakhand. His father is the principal in a govt school. He has two elder sisters. “Despite our not-so great financial status, my father never let our academics suffer.” While at Sainik School Nainital, and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dehradun, Satyam idolised Vivekananda, Bhagat Singh and Veer Abdul Hameed. “I've always had young, energetic, passionate heroes.” An education at IIT-Delhi, followed by IIM-B got Satyam a cushy corporate job with an MNC bank.
But this 27-year-old hasn’t forgotten his roots and believes his empathy with the disadvantaged is his USP. He would like to set up vocational training centres and hopes to launch microfinance schemes as an empowerment tool for women. He has already set up two scholarships for girl students, including one for learning music in classes XI and XII, in memory of his mother who was a music teacher herself.
