Here is Nandi (Shiva's bull & vehicle), looking into the inner chamber of the temple (as He does at every Shiva temple). But the door is closed for the night. You can also see the statue of Ganesh at the left of the doorway. Ganesh is also at the doorway to every temple, and is always to be invoked first as the "remover of obstacles".
