Raj Kumar Thanks for joining merpahad community.

Chhiplakot (also known as Najurkot) is the High Himalayan  Mountain in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, India at an altitude of 3290 meters. Full of alpine flora and vegetation, Chhiplakot is famous for its lush green alpine meadow called Bugyal. The slopes provide a skii range, and a local cave plays host to a triannual fair in the winters. Local people worship God Chhipula at here.

Dear Mehra,
Thanks for the reply and the pictures.
I am looking for specific information. Have you been to Chipla kot? Or any of your friends? Please let me know any articles in Hindi magazines about this place. It seems Yugvani magazine carried an article on Chipla kot some time back.
I have been to Kanar near Baram and Ranthi village near Dobat.
I travelled and trekked in Pithoragarh district.
My blog page can be found here:

It's not complete yet.
Hope you will like it.
regards
