Referring Guldasta –e Tavarikh , Dabral sates that Jiva Nand had already called Sayane, Kamin , Jgairdar, Thokdar of Tehri Kingdom to Tehri before Ramsey reached to Tehri. Not only Sayane, Thokdar but elites and villagers were also present there when British official announcement was declared Bhavani Shah as King. (1 )
The British officials announced (3)–
“ The Chaudhariyos,Kanoongo, and Jamindars should be aware that King Sudarshan Shah and his real sons from authorized marriages(queens) are not alive. By hat logic, the Tehri territory comes under British territory. However, looking the faithfulness, friendship and help in 1857 shown by Sudarshan Shah, British government is declaring Bhavani Singh (valid son of Sudarshan Shah) as Tehri king and handing over him the administration of Tehri Kingdom too)”.
The cash was Rs 6600 only in treasury. The queens and their gangs already looted the treasury. The custom of Tehri Kings was to keep treasury in the Haram.
There is no other record available that speaks about the detailing of coronation of Bhavani Shah.
Later on British government sent sanad to Bhavani Shah in Persian language.
