Friends,

Uttarakhand main IIM ki swekriti hui hai , mera sujhaw hai ki IIM pahad main khulana chahiye, aur Centre main hona chahiye, mujhe lagata hai ki Chakhutiya Ya Gairsain Main khulana Chahiye, Kripaya Apana sujhav dain.

Dayal JI,

I fully endorse your views on this.

This should be some where in Uttarakhand so that our student can get maximum benefits of the same.

Presently, we have almost everything in plain areas eg. our capital, other educational institutes etc. 

Atleast this should be in Hill areas.

उत्तराखण्ड के पहाड़ी हिस्सों में कई ऐसी जगह हैं जहाँ पर प्रस्तावित भारतीय प्रबन्धक संस्थान (IIM) की स्थापना हो सकती है. लेकिन उसके लिये जमीन की उपलब्धता और यातायात सम्बन्धी कुछ Minimum Requirement हैं. उत्तराखण्ड सरकार अगर चाहे तो पहाड़ी जिला मुख्यालयों के आस-पास यह आवश्यकताएं पूरी की जा सकती हैं. सरकार की लेटलतीफी के कारण अभी तक IIM के लिये स्थान का चयन नहीं हो पाया है. पहाड़ों में यह प्रतिष्टित संस्थान खुलने से हिमालयी पर्यावरण प्रबंधन के क्षेत्र में नये शोध किये जा सकते हैं जो ग्लोबल  वार्मिंग के इस युग में सार्थक साबित होंगे.

Bhubaneswar: Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Kapil Sibal said on Friday that the setting up of new Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) won't dilute the brand image of these prestigious business schools.

Speaking to reporters in Bhubaneswar, the minister said that the seven new IIMs won't affect the existing institutions.

"The new IIMs would be of the same standard. The infrastructure and faculties would be of same standard in the new ones," Sibal said.

The union government Thursday approved the setting up of seven IIMs to boost higher education in the country.

Four of the new IIMs will come up in Trichy (Tamil Nadu), Ranchi (Jharkhand), Raipur (Chhattisgarh) and Rohtak (Haryana). They will start classes in the 2010-11 academic year.

The other three will come up in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan and they will become operational from the year after. The location of the IIMs in these states is yet to be decided.

The existing IIMs are in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode and Shillong.

IIMs, considered the best B-schools in the country, are a major brand name in the global management education. IANS

IIM, HI MAIN KAHATA HOON KI SAB KUCHH UTTARAKHAD MAIN HONA CHHIYE, JO KI KAHIN BHI NAHI HAIN,
LEKIN DOSTON ABHI TAK HUMARI (UTTARAKHAND) KI RAJDHAANI KA THIKANA NHAIN HAO OR IIM,DOORON KE MAHAL KO DEKHKAR HUMEN APNA JHOPDA NAHIN TODNA CHAHIYE !

Devbhumi ji IIM ki swekriti to aa chuki hai Uttarakhand ke liye bas place decide karani hain , Hamara Kahana hai ki Uttarakhand ki 90% bhumi pahadi hai to IIM kisi pahadi jagah main hi khule to achchha hoga na ki Tarai main , Pahad ka vikas Chahiye to ye important sansthan pahad main hi hone chahiye, Mera sugetion to Gaisain ya Chakhutiya hai, Gaisain Bhavi Rajdhani v hai.IIM pahad main khulega to Himalayan Paryavaran prabandhan par Reasurch v ho sakti hai.

PANDEY JI NAMSKAAR MAIN APKI BAAT SE SHAMAT HOON, LEKIN ABHI HUMARA RAJDHANI KA MAMALA HAI JO KI VARSON SE LATKA HUWA HAI PAHLE WO SULAJH JAY TO IIM BHI  JAROOR HOGA UTTARAKHAND MAIN YE BAHUT HI KUSHI KI BAAT JO KI AAPNE YAHAN UTHAI HAI !
