Dear friends,
Goswami ji was a singer and best thing about him was voice quality and he put his sole into his songs. A person listening Kaile bajai murooli (just listening) in summer of June at Delhi reaches in the hills of Himalaya. That is the real singing not like what new singers are doing by dancing, wearing fancy clothes, changing get up, re-mixes or so on.
Sorry I am not against experimentation but I cant compare them with Goswami ji or legends like Mohd. Rafi.
The present singers are altogether from a seprate class and never reach at that height because there is no challege before them.

First of all i would like to thanx GOPAL BABU GOSWAMI JI, THE LEGEND OF UTTRAKHAND, who has gave a remarkable contribution in our Folk Music..I really respect Him a lot...I think he is the only one, who was the real jewel, we can still hear his songs "kaile bajee muruli" lines in Jab We Met's song..it really means a lot for us, its really a kind of recognition of our folk music in todayz Bollywood Songs...I cant see any other singer, who writes his song with such a easy, catchy and yet so meaningfull lyrics(Speciality-even Gadwali people can also relate with them, so its a kind of togetherness he has created among both of us), and then composes the song itself tremendously and Finally gives his Floulous Voice to it. That is a great thing. Its really sad that, today he is not with us, but i feel very very lucky that at least we are still able to hear his melodious voice records.......May God Bless his sole....
