guys, in ur opinion, when is the best time to catch a snowfall in the hills?

yes, but i don't have 2 months off fully from office . what are the best days for snowfall? one guess is that it can be around 20dec-1 jan. then another idea is that it can be around uttarayani mela (kale kauwa), which is on 13th or 14th jan.
does anybody in this forum have any elder relatives living in the pahaad? they would have experience and can predict when it would snow in the higher reaches. based on their predictions, i can plan my next trip to pahaad

biljuru, changuuch, etc..these are some local peaks near pindari glacier. some mountaineers died here this year.

this is the dhakuri pass. you have to cross this to go to the pindari glacier. actually, this pic is taken from dhakuri (so that means we have crossed it already)
