Pandukholi is a charming village located 9000 ft above the sea level, 10 km from Doonagiri, in Almora District. People believe that the Pandavas stayed here during their sojourn in the forest. The caves here are said to be carved by Pandavas. A temple is situated here. This place is also popular for certain medicinal herbs.

Syalde Bikhauti

Syalde Bikhauti is a festival held at Syalde Pokhar in Dwarahat of Uttaranchal. It falls on the day of Vishuwat Sankranti, and is celebrated to memorialize an ancient victory. Music, dance and songs are the accompaniments of this festival.
