द्वाराहाट उत्तराखंड के अल्मोड़ा जिले में रानीखेत से लगभग ३२ किलोमीटर की   दूरी पर है! यह जगह सांस्कृतिक एव देव स्थलों के लिए प्रसिद्ध है! हर साल   यहाँ पर वैशाखी के दिन भव्य मेला होता है! द्वारहात से ६ किलोमीटर की दूरी   पर है माँ दुर्गा का मंदिर द्रोणागिरी! द्वाराहाट में मंदिरों का समूह भी   देखने को मिलता है जहाँ पर कत्यूरी राजाओ के बनाये हुए मंदिर भी है!     

स्याल्दे के बारे में :    Syalde Bikhauti is a festival held at Syalde Pokhar in Dwarahat of Uttarakhand.   It falls on the day of Vishuwat Sankranti, and is celebrated to   memorialize an ancient victory. Music, dance and songs are the   accompaniments of this festival.

कुमाऊ का इतिहास किताब में पेज नंबर ६५ में द्वारहाट के बारे में यह जानकारी लिखी गयी है!

द्वाराहाट   - यहाँ पर लगभग ६४-६५ देवालय है! प्रायः सब कत्यूरी राजाओ का समय के बने   हुए है! बहुत में देवता है! कई में नहीं१ नयी टूट गये है! एक मंदिर गूजर   देवल कहलाता है! कहते है इस कत्यूरी राजाओं के जमाने में गूजर साह नाम   वैश्य ने बनवाया था! एक टूटे मंदिर कुटूनबूड़ी का देवल है! कहते है, इसको   एक बुडिया ने, जो धान कूटकर गुजर करती था, बनवाया!
