आजकल दो  बच्चों के साथ, मैं कम संगीत सुन पाती हूँ. मेरी रुचि शास्त्रीय संगीत मैं है, कुच्छ पहाड़ी गीत हैं जो बचपन से जानती हूँ, गाती भी हूँ.
बॉलीवुड के तर्ज़ का यूं हावी होना मुझे किसी भी क्षेत्र मैं पसंद नहीं. मैंने हर कोशिश की है की एक मनोरंजक कहानी बनाऊँ, पर उसे बॉलीवुड का फिल्मिपना ना दूं , अपने मन का छंद लिखूं

क्या आपको पहाडी संगीत पसंद है? तो फिर सुनती भी हैं क्या?  पहाडी लोकगीत और आज के पहाडी संगीत जो कि पूरी तरह मुम्बईया तर्ज पर आधारित है के बारे में आपके बिचार जानना चाहते हैं।

फिल्म में एक डाईलॉग " पहाड़ का पानी पहाड़ की जवानी अगर पहाड़ में ठहर जाय, तो पहाड़ का नक्सा बदल जायेगा "

इसमें कोई दो राय नहीं है यह एक कटु सत्य है!  क्या हमारी फिल्म इन्दुस्ट्री में पहाड़ के लोग इस विषय में क्या राय रखते है!

आपने अपनी तरफ से इतना महत्वपुर्ण कार्य किया है !

यह एक कुमोनी गाँव के एक पात्र के बारे मैं है, जो बम्बई से वापस गाँव आता है..
ऐसी क्यों कई प्रकार की फिल्मएं कुमोनी और गड्वाली मैं बन सकती हैं. मैं आशा करती हूँ की बन भी रही हैं

मेरा सवाल है - ये फिल्म किस विषय पर बनाया गया है , और आगे चल के ऐसी फिल्म कुमाउनी और गड्वाली भाषा में  बनाना संभव है या बनाने में क्या कठिनाई हो सकती है .

did you guys also show the problems faced by excessive drinking in the hills? (they say nowadays - surya ast, pahad mast). while shooting in the villages around chaukori and munsyari, did your team actually face this issue?

Kya aapki agli movie bhi uttakhani culture par based hogi...?..ya fir  aap kuch aur naya try karna chah rahe ho..?..I mean to say aapne is  movie k baare me kuch socha hai ya script ready hai...?
 
 

no,  like I was telling my friend the other day, when we had no idea of the  release at all and were all tired waiting- that I still feel glad I  made this film, it has meant so much to me. I want to make another film

Bela  ji, I think this is your first movie....did it ever hit in your  mind  that you might have choosen a wrong step in your life...or you may   have thought to change to some other field also...

मजिला हम सब जैसा एक लडखडाता किरदार है. वोह बोतल, वोह कविता दोनों उस किरदार की यात्रा मैं अपना रोल निभाती हैं. यह फिल्म उस यात्रा को दर्शाती है- जिस पर शायद अलग अलग तरीकों से हम सब निकले हैं

फिल्म "दायें या बाएं" का जल्दी ही प्रदर्शन होने वाला है....पहाड़ पर फिल्म   निर्देशन आपका "पहाड़ प्रेम" का भाव प्रदर्शित करता है.  मेरी तरफ से आपको  हार्दिक शुभकामनायें. पहाड़ी जन जीवन और प्रकृति का सुन्दर फिल्मांकन किया है आपने....कुछ झलक देखने को मिली...मेरे कविमन को बहुत अच्छा लगा.  फिल्म में स्वर्गीय गिर्दा जी ने मास्टर जी के रूप में किरदार निभाया है,  समझो "सोने पे गुहागा"...   आपने सोचा नहीं होगा... जब फिल्म का प्रदर्शन होगा....  हमारे प्यारे जनकवि गिर्दा जी  नहीं होंगे....आज यादों में बस गए...आपकी फिल्म में भी.   "पहाड़ का पानी और जवानी" फिल्म में संवाद के रूप में है..... पर्वतजनों  को सार्थक सन्देश देगा.....उत्तराखंड के सतत विकास के लिए.......बुरांश और बांसुरी तस्वीरों में देखकर... क्या कहने....प्रवास में  प्यारे उत्तराखंड की बहुत याद आई......लेकिन!....बांसुरी और बोतल...विचारमग्न किरदार के सामने देख......सन्देश क्या है.....समझ नहीं आया....आलोचना नहीं.. मेरे मन में उभरा...एक प्रश्न  है...

पहाड में एक तो महिलाओं और दूसरा हलिया और हल-बल्द (हल में जोते जाने वाले बैल) का जीवन बहुत ही कष्ट कारी है हो, इन पर भी कोई फिलम-सिलम बना द्यो हो फिलम वालो।
