Is right to potray as uttrakhandi to celebrity or politician,who doesn't care

Dear All,
I've a great desire to discuss in this topic.
Why should we care for those people, who feel shame in showing their roots?
Like why should I feel proud in saying that M. S. Dhoni, Prsoon Joshi,Murli Manohar Joshi are from uttrakhand, If they never potray themselves as Uttrakhandi.
Please tell me your view,

I have had word with Prasoon Ji and Muruli ji... Never felt like that. They have been doing great work in their field. It is the Dhoni i could not get chance with talk with him but.. he is the pahadi wo got married with a pahadi girl..

Even Dhoni speaks.. kumaoni language fluently u will not believe. Yah...our expectation are always high.
