We all have to see that what kind of changes take place in agriculture of UK in time coming ahead.

Dear All,
One thing is common to all the pictures is that either paddy or wheat is grown.
Now the question arises is that ,if all of this is being grown for self consumption and no selling is involved  then how do you expect the economic upliftment.
If in the same land a produce worth Rs.10 a kg is grown then out of that 5 rs. can be used to purchase a kg of paddy or wheat .Then other 5/= can be used to think about other activities.
Now one thing is true Mehta ji that these all pictures are not imaginary .
Somewhere or the other these villages and fields DO EXIST.
SO even if one particular area is concentrated upon and and even if 20% of land holding is converted to different horticulture crops, then human nature is such that once it senses money things start rolling automatically.
Now it is just a question of identifying one village , just ONE,to start with.

Sir,

The paddy is mostly grown in UK hill areas is for people self consumption. However, it has also been seen some time what people even do not get what had saw in the feilds. It also costs them heavy labour due to stair types of field. In such condition, i would some alternate crops etc should be adopted by people.

As i mentioned earlier also, in valley areas production of any crops is much better than the other areas.  I have seen people selling the grains etc. Only thing is for them is hard working on fields which today's generation evades.
