Jaonli Peak

Jaonli is a majestic peak which lies at the south of the Gangotri group of mountains in the watershed between the Jaonli and Khatling glaciers in Uttaranchal. This lofty peak is situated at an altitude of 6,632 m above the mean sea level. Jaonli Peak, the trekker’s delight, was first ascended by members from the famous Indian public institution, the Doon School.

Jogin Peaks

 
Jogin Peaks are situated in the Gangotri region of the Himalayas in Uttaranchal. Jogin 1(6465 m), Jogin 2 (4363 m) and Jogin 3(6116 m) are the three main snow peaks of the Jogin group. Many base camps are arranged here and the main base camp is at Kedar Tal. Mountaineering expeditions and trekking are the most adventurous attractions. These snow peaks encircle the Khatling Glacier. Another nearby interest is Uttarkashi.

Kagbhusand Peak

Towering over an altitude of 5,830 m, Kagbhusand is a triangular-shaped peak that seems to guard the entrance of Deban plateau. It is visible from a little above Gamsali, Gupt Khal and even from the Girthi gorge

Kalmatia Hill

 
Kalmatia Hill is situated in Upereti Khala, 8 km north-east of Almora, in Uttaranchal. Swami Vivekananda meditated here in one of the caves in 1890, before his visit to USA. Kasar Devi Temple, dedicated to Goddess Durga, is atop the hill.

Kamet

Kamet is the second highest mountain peak in Garhwal region, after Nanda Devi (25,440 ft). The valley around Kamet is mostly barren. Here, the temperature plunges below freezing point after sunset.

Kandoliya Hills

Kandoliya is a hilly area positioned at a distance of 2 km from Pauri, the headquarters of Pauri Garhwal District. Surrounded by thick forest, it offers the spectacular views of the Himalayas and Gangwarsyun Valley.
A massive temple, Kandoliya Devta Mandir is one of the prime attractions of the area. The Kandolia Fair, associated with this temple, draws a large number of pilgrims.

Ransi Stadium, Laxmi Narayan Temple, and Kyunkaleshwar Mahadev Temple of 8th century are nearby.

Kedar Dome

Located in India, Kedar Dome is a mountain in the Garhwal region of the Himalayan ranges at an altitude of 6830 m. The north-west flank of the mountain provides the easiest and most frequented climb in the Gangotri area.

Khatling Peak

Perched at a height of about 6,387 m, Khatling Peak is in Garhwal region of Uttaranchal. On the northern slopes of the peak is the Bandarpunch, an important glacier of Yamuna River basin. Bandarpunch and Bandarpunch West peaks are nearby. Khatling Glacier is nearby too, which gives good view of the peak.

Lambigad Parbat I is a snow clad mountain located at an altitude of 6803 m. This peak is placed in the Garhwal region of the Himalayas.

Latu Dhura Peak

 
Latu Dhura Peak is situated in the northern part of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary in Chamoli District. This peak is placed in the Himalayas in the Garhwal region. Latu Dhura Peak lies at an altitude of 6392 m
