Odalak

Odalak is located in Uttarkashi District of Uttaranchal. It is around 20 km south of Dunda. Uttarkashi, the district headquarters, is around 35 km north-east of Odalak. Bhagirathi River has its course through the area.

Nelang


A picturesque hamlet, Nelang lies on the borderline between Uttarkashi District and the state of Himachal Pradesh. The state highway connecting Dhumku and Angar passes nearby. Dhumku and Jadhang are the nearby locales. The main tributary of the River Ganges, the Bhagirathi River, flows very close to this place. Mountain peaks, trekking routes and splendid scenery make Nelang a popular tourist destination.

Nanai


Nanai is in Uttarkashi District of Uttaranchal, near the state highway connecting Gainchvan and Purola. The Rupin River flows through this place. Mori, Salra, Asna, Naitwar, Jarmola and Rama are the nearby places.

Mori

 


Encircled by paddy fields, Mori is a small village positioned on the banks of Tons River in Uttarkashi District. A tourist place, it boasts thick forest including the tallest pine forest in Asia, a historic temple built by Pandavas at Tons Valley, and scenic Lunagad Creek that includes a narrow gorge and a pool with a small water fall.
Rafting on the river and trekking are the major activities. Some of the best camping sites are found here. The best time to visit Mori is from May to mid July.

Markandi

 
Markandi, a picturesque village, is situated near Harsil in Uttarkashi District. It lies at an altitude of 2,300 m, in the Bhagirathi Valley. It is believed that Markandeya lived here. During winter the deity of Gangotri is brought here and worshipped.
The place offers an excellent view of snow-clad peaks. River Ganga flows close by. Nearby interesting places include Sukhi, Kedar Tal, Dayara Bugyal, Gangotri Glacier, Dharali and Jhala.

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport. The nearest railway station is at Rishikesh.

Malla

Malla is located in Uttarkashi District of Uttaranchal. It lies at an altitude of 6560 ft above sea level and is around 25 km east of Uttarkashi.
This hilly village, with its adventurous trekking and hiking trails, is an ideal destination for tourists in search of adventure. Bhagirathi River flows nearby.

Bhatwari is around 5 km east of Malla. Dehradun Railway Station is the nearest railway station. Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport.

Lewari is a small sleepy village in Uttarkashi District of Uttaranchal. It is situated near the trekking route connecting Rari and Osla. Purola and Rajgarhi are the nearest major towns. The Rupin River flows very close to this village. The nearby villages are Doni, Naitwar, Gainchvan, Jakhol and Simatru Thach.

Kulni is a small village in Uttarkashi District of Uttaranchal. It is situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city and is noted for its serene atmosphere and scenic beauty. Rajgarhi and Purola are the nearest major towns.
Balcha, Asna, Mori, Nanai, Gainchvan and Naitwar are some of the places situated nearby.

Kulni can be accessed by local buses and taxies from Purola. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport. The nearest railway station is at Dehradun.
