We have been recieving a lot mail on shifting of capital of Uttarakhand from people. There are a lot of who have now totally changed like politicians. These are the people who used to earlier fight for state struggle now have joined the gang of politicial people are making a consipracy to divert public attention from Gairsain issue.

Who does not want the development of Uttarkhand after all we had fought the fight for what ? Only for development and nothing else.

What these people have done during these closed to 10 yrs nothing. See one of the examples of development pace uttarakhand :

अस्कोट(पिथौरागढ़)। अस्कोट क्षेत्र के बड़ीगांव में ट्रांसफार्मर फुंकने से तीन ग्राम पिछले एक माह से अंधकार में डूबे हुए है। शिकायतों के बावजूद नया ट्रांसफार्मर नहीं लगाये जाने से उपभोक्ताओं में गहरा रोष व्याप्त है। बड़ीगांव के ग्राम प्रधान तारासिंह बिष्ट ने बताया कि यहां स्थापित ट्रांसफार्मर एक माह पूर्व खराब हो गया था। इसके चलते बड़ीगांव सहित मौचोरा और गडाली ग्राम सभाएं अंधकार में डूबी है। उन्होंने विद्युत विभाग के अधिशासी अभियंता से शीघ्र नया ट्रांसफार्मर लगाये जाने की मांग की है।

Delhi being the captial of our Country, see how other surrounding areas like Noida, Gurgoan, Ghaziabad have developed.

Similarly, if our capital would be dehadoon so far we have there would have marked development.

Vimochan Of Book on Chakbandi and poster of Sundariyal ji is complete. The response was good. Team will leave for delhi at around 3.00 PM.

चकबंदी पर आधारित पुस्तक और श्री सुन्दरियाल जी के पोस्टर का विमोचन संपन्न। जिसमें लोगों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। टीम 3 बजे अपराह्न दिल्ली के लिये रवाना होगी।

गैरसेण मे रजधानी रखने कि जरूरत है।

नयी राजधानी बनाना मतलब पैसे खर्चा करना--जो कि सरकारे पता नही क्यों हमेशा से विकास पर करने से बचती है। पैसे खर्चे होगे तो विकास भी होगा। वो पैसे हमारे कुछ लोगो तक तो जरूर पोहुँचेंगे? 

जैसा कि पहले बतया गया है केंद्र सरकार ने उत्तराखंड सरकर को गैरसेण मे राजधनी बनाने के लिये पैसे आबंडित किये है।

आप लोग पहले से ही जानते है कि केंद्र उत्तराखंड जैसे छोटे राज्य को कितना महत्तव देती है। दूसरे रज्यों से अपने गाव तक के सुविधाजनक सफ़र का मजा तो आप लोगो ने चखा ही होगा, आज तक के समान्य बजट या रेल बजट मे हमे कितने प्यार से किनारे किया जाता है आप जानते है।

जो कुछ भी हमारी तरफ़ फेंका गया वो उत्तराखंड राज्य बनने के बाद हि है। इसलिये अगर कुछ लोग इसे कहेते है "सांकेतिक", यही सही, पर इस राजधनि का बनना महत्वपूण है।   
 
हमारी राज्य सरकारो ने कितना खर्च किया है और कितने रोजगार अवसर उपलब्ध करये है आप ये भी जानते है। 

कया आज कि सरकार शहर मे बैठ कर गाँव की तकलीफे समझने की क्षमता रखति है?

अगर ये नेता लोग गैरसेण मे अपने लिये महल भी बनाते है तो हमारे वहाँ के मजदूरो और ग्रह निर्माण से जुडे लोगो को कुछ तो लाभ होगा। कुछ नही से कुछ तो सही।   

जो लोग अपेक्षा करते है कि सरकार इन पैसो को विकास पर खर्चा करेगी, तो शायद वो ये भूल गये है कि सरकार ने अब तक क्यो नही किया; या, वो ये भी भूल गये के सरकार ने पहले गैरसेण मे राजधनि बनने के बारे मे कहा था और उस्से मुकर गये है 

गैरसेण मे राजधानि बनने से ग्रामीणो को नेताओ से ज्यादा मिलने का मौका मिलेगा। नेताओ उनके परिशानि से जयदा आसनि से मूह मोड नहि पयेंगे।   

देहेरादून से मुहं छुपाकर बार बार दिल्ली पहुचँना आसन है, गैरसेण से इतना आसन नही होगा।

दोस्तों गैरसैण राजधानी बनाने की खबर जोरों पर है ,लेकिन दोस्तों इसके लिए पैसे भी खर्च करने पडेगें ये बात बिलकुल सही है लेकिन ये पैसे आंयेगें कहाँ से हमारी सरकार तो गरीब है और सरकार चलाने वालों ने तो हमारी उत्तराखंड को कंगाल बना कर रखा हुआ है, अगर आप लोग इन लोगों के घरों मैं गाकर देखें तो इअतनी बड़ी-बड़ी बिल्डिंगें बना रखी और इनका बैंक बैलेंस भी क्या कहें बेंक मैं भी सायद जगह नहीं होगी और ये लो रहतें है एक सचे नेता की तरह एक कुरता पायजामा पहनकर(जैसे भिखारी घूम रहा हो) इन लोगों ने तो उत्तराखंड जी जनता को, हकीकत मैं देखा जे तो जनता भिखारी की तरह रहती है!

और दूसरी बात ये है कि- केंद्र सरकार ने जो पैसे उत्तराखंड सरकार को गैरसैण राजधानी बनाने के लिए आबंटित किये थे,वो पैसे कहाँ हैं और किसके पास है किसी को मालुम भी है!

 मुझे लगता नहीं कि उत्तराखंड कि सरकार ने कुछ विकाश किया हो, न ही कुछ रोजगार के साधनों मैं विकाश हुआ है और न ही गाँवों का विकास हुआ है तो वो पैसा गया कहाँ?

ये नेता लोग भी देहरादून कि तरह,गैरसैण को भी अपने महलों का स्वर्ग बना देगें, गैरसैण मैं राज्य भवन बाद मैं बनेगा,लेकिन नेताओं के महल पहले खड़े हो जांयेंगे, और जनता विचारी हात्मलते रह जायेगी

गैरसैण राजधानी बनाने के लिए जो पैसा इन्हें मिला था, सायद इन लोगों ने उसे या कहन जमीन खरीद ली होगी या तो कहीं और सहारों अपने महल खड़े कर दिए होंगें , या कहन अपने फाइव स्टार होटले खोल दिए होंगे इस लिए ये अब गैरसैण राजधानी बनाने से मुकर रहे हैं!

ऊताराखंड की गरीब जनता की परिशानी ये लोग क्या समझेंगें , इनको तो ये भी सायद मालुम नहीं होग की उत्तराखंड मैं कितने गाँव हैं और कितने गांवों सड़कें हैं और कितने गांवों बिजली-पानी है,अरे दोस्तों इन नेताओं को जब अपनी भाषा बोलनी नहीं आती है  तो ये क्या समझेंगे उन गरीब गांववालों की परिशानी और कितनी दिक्ककतों का सामना हम लोगों को करना पड़ता है!

देहरादून से ये लोग बार बार दिली पहुँच जाते हैं सरकारी खर्चे पर और अपने पूरे परिवार के साथ एक फाइव स्टार होटल मैं जाकर ठहरते हैंऔर बिल दाल देतें हैं सरकारी तिजोरी मैं, सच मैं अगर आज भी उस तिजोरी को खोला जाय तो वहां केवल कागज के तुकडे मिलेंगें बिलों के रूप मैं, इन लोगों को गैसें राजधानी बनाने का जो वायदा किया था ये लोग सायद उसे खा पीकर डकार गए और पानी पीना भूल गए, अब इन लोगों को पानी  गैरसैण  मैं पिलाना पड़ेगा !

Whereas till something really happens on the ground - nothing is going to change. Once the capital is shifted: many developmental works will take place leading to overall change in other fields as well. This is going to happen only by way of struggle, perhaps a long struggle.

So let us all Uttarakhandis wholeheartedly support this issue of capital at Gairsain.

मै इस बात को फिर दुहराना चाहूँगा कि केंद्र सरकार पहले से २ हज़ार करोड़ की धन राशि उत्तराखंड राज्य के स्थाई राजधानी के लिए रखे है जो कि २०१० तक यदि इस्तेमाल नहीं किया गया तो lapse हो जायेगा..

मान लीजिये कल के दिन अगर ये नेता लोग अपने वोट बैंक के लिए यह काम कर देते है तो तब राज्य के लिए यह एक बहुत बड़ा नुक्सान हो सकता है !

और इन सारे लोगो को इस बारे कोई जानकारी ही नहीं है

I am also agree with Mr. Kandpal, and in addition to I would like to say that if Shimla can be the capital of Himachal Pradesh then why Gairisain can not be capital of Uttarakhand. Shimala Developed by the British Ruler for their conveniance for the short period i.e. till they were in India. But Gairisain to be develop for our own development. It is part of our state.
 
I can guess that those people are not living in the area nearby Gairisain or in hill area will not support gairisain as capital because they can listen and speek but not realise the difficulties of the the people living in that area.

I have been reading a few mails lately on Gairsain and also saw that a group of people are making a journey all the way to Gairsain.

I am of the view that making Gairsain ( or another place in hills) is very important if we want to force our governments to make and implement plans for hill state.

we are today a Mountain State in name only, people in various level of government are working with same Lucknow/ Delhi mentality. They have not bothered to make people's problem as their own. A roadblock somewhere in the hills doesnt make any difference to their daily lives. They still treat a hill posting as "durgam sthal"!! what can be worse when most of our state is considered "durgam sthal" by our own people!!

Dixit report makes a reference in the begining to chosing capital with a right reason and from the technical feasbility standpoint. In my opinion brief of Dixit commission couldnt have been any worse!! Uttarakhand is not looking for a state capital from a technical point alone for making a capital town!! We are looking for a change in mindset for governance!! The very reason why we demanded statehood was to ensure that our Hills were getting neglected ... and in order to change that we needed our beuarocrats and politicians to feel the problems of hills first hand!!

Problem of money or obstales like lack of land, water are not insurmountable... What is needed is will to overcome these problems. These are problems not of proposed capital alone but of the whole state and if we cant find a solution for capital city ( with all resources that would be available) how we can even imagine to solve problems of lesser cities/towns/villages?

Dehradun and all other places in out terai area would continue to flourish like Indore does for MP or similarly other commercial hubs... These places are capable of generating resources on their own and would require right prioritizations by government.

In order to make this Gairsain movement a mass movement like in the times of Uttarakhand Aandolan we need real commitment from ourselves. Lets use all the mediums available to us and see how much momenetum we can create...

on Twitter space lets bring the movement through #uttarakhand & #gairsain ...

I understand that most of e-space/web would be more accessible to bigger cities and people outside uttarakhand but if we are able to connect the masses of uttarakhand from offline world to this online world ... there could be a silent revolution around the corner!!

Dear All,

In my last letter i had mentioned that the current scenario is demeaning, infrastructure, health, education and employment first. We should thing that what is the priority for us. Have you made any call to your relatives in Uttarakhnd and try to know the major issue of there? They need development, they need education for his/her child, the need water harvesting for fields and they need a good and fair administration.
Do you think why we are demanding now a Capital when we know that the other lots of major issues are pending? Why not we decentralized our administration and open small secretariat in every district so that the people can resolve his and her issue in the district. We are know very well that how much our villagers are financially strong to go capital to resolve his/her issue and you know very well that how much time you have to come to resolve your issue and the first thing the local administration will view only your districts problem. It is very fastest, economical and effective process and  it also generate various jobs.
We should understand that the hills always more expensive than plains. Cost of constriction is double than plains because of unavailability of materials and transportation cost become it more expansive. 
I thought it will be better if we will make district level online group and concentrate on district level and share our experience at here.
Now I hope all members will understand that we use our power and strength to develop our state.

We use 2000 Cr. Rupee in Development of Uttarakhand not for in a Capital. It is wastage of Money.
