This is the high time to take-up this issue as the Railway Budget Session is coming near. Our MPs and specially Minister Harish Rawat Ji should take-up the matter strongly in Parliament during budget session.

People in Delhi should also support the group of people coming from Uttarkahand for the demand of Railway Track in hills. 

रेल की मांग बड़ी जायज मांग है हम सबको जोश के सांथ ये मांग उठानी चाहिए   

The rail connectivity for hill is badly required. This is one of the one hopes for fast development.

Apart from Tanakpur to Bageshwar , there is another railway track Karanparayag. As I mentioned earlier there is need to take-up these proposals strongly with the Centre Govt.

Uttarakhand is the only hilly state of Uttarakhand where there is no rail connectivity in hill areas. J&K, Himanchal and some eastern states have already got the rail connectivity long back.

Last time, Mamta Banarjee, Union Railway Minister had assured for the rail connectivity in hill areas of Uttarakhand. Once Satpal Mahraj, MP has taken-up this issue in parliament.

There is a delegation coming from Bageshwar which has been struggling since long for the Tanakpur to Bageshwar Railway Lines.

They all need support from our MPs and migrated Uttarakhandi in Delhi.

Merapahad Team also joined the Rally for Railway Track at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.

रेल लाइन के लिए जंतर-मंतर पर धरना देंगे सीमान्तवासी

पिथौरागढ़: टनकपुर-बागेश्वर रेल लाइन के लिए 21 फरवरी से दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर में शुरु हो रहे धरने में सीमांत जिले पिथौरागढ़ जागरुक नागरिक मंच भी भागीदारी करेगा। मंच ने जिले के लोगों से इस महत्वपूर्ण मांग में सहयोग की अपील की है। जागरुक नागरिक मंच की एक बैठक शुक्रवार को सम्पन्न हुई। बैठक में वक्ताओं ने कहा कि देश के महानगरों में मेट्रो रेल, मोनो रेल आदि को जाल बिछाया जा रहा है,लेकिन सीमांत क्षेत्रों की उपेक्षा की जा रही है। चीन और नेपाल से लगे क्षेत्र यातायात सेवाओं के अभाव में काफी पिछड़ी स्थिति में हैं। क्षेत्र के लोग लम्बे समय से टनकपुर-बागेश्वर रेल लाइन की मांग कर रहे हैं,लेकिन आज तक सरकारों ने इस मांग पर कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया है। वक्ताओं ने कहा इस मांग को लेकर रेल बनाओ संघर्ष समिति द्वारा 21 फरवरी से दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर में दिये जा रहे धरने का समिति पूर्ण समर्थन करती है और समिति के कार्यकर्ता भी इस धरने में भागीदारी करेंगे। मंच के कार्यकर्ता ललित पंत की अगुवाई में दिल्ली जायेंगे। मंच ने जिले के लोगों से इस महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दे पर सहयोग की अपील की है। शुक्रवार को हुई बैठक में तमाम लोगों ने भागीदारी की।
