A few days ago, i had purchased a few UK"s VCD and found them to be very very inferior. We can expect that our music will go such low level.

This seems like a attack on UK's folk music on the name of experiement.

दशकों पहले गांव की महिलाएं किसी खास उत्सवों पर समूह में और वनों में घास लेने गई घसियारी सामूहिक रूप में लोकगीतों को गाया करती थी। अस्सी के दशक से पूर्व लोक गायिकी में सिर्फ मेल सिंगर ही अपनी आवाज देते थे। यह बात भी दीगर है कि उस समय महिला विषयक गीतों को भी मेल सिंगर ही आवाज देते थे। अस्सी के दशक में महिला गायिकाओं ने भी लोकगायिकी में पदार्पण किया। लोकगायकी में संगीत की धुनें भी समय के साथ-साथ रंग बदलती गई और आज लोकगीतों का नाता टूटने लगा है। पहले ठेठ वाद्य यंत्रों की धुनों पर लोकगीतों की स्वर लहरी हर किसी को पहाड़ों की महिमा सुनाकर अपनी ओर खींच लेती थी। आज थडया, चौंफला, चांचरी, बाजूबंद, झुमैंलो आदि लोकगीत पूरी तरह गायब हो गए है। इसके अलावा जो गीत आए कैसेटों में परोसे जा रहे है उन गीतों के भाव व धुनों पर पूरी तरह पाश्चात्य संस्कृति का रंग चढ़ चुका है। नवोदित गायकों का शार्ट-कट फार्मूला अपनाकर कम समय में अपेक्षा से अधिक सफलता प्राप्त करना प्रमुख कारण माना जा रहा है। संगीत निर्देशक गणेश बीरांन व गीत-संगीत निर्देशक अनिल बिष्ट का कहना है कि नेम व फेम की मैराथन दौड़ के चलते शार्ट फार्मूला अपनाने के साथ-साथ गीतों के व्यवसायीकरण के चलते यह परिवर्तन हुआ है।

HOW CAN I UPLOAD AUDIO / VIDEO SONGS....

Unfortunately, we do not have any music industry so there is no question any censor on folk music.

What we suggest people who are into this music industry should make decenet kind music which can attract the viewers rather than making such silly expriement.

The people with whom you have created your concern they are also involved in doing same kind of thing.  I know most of them.....U understand what I mean....

We have raised with Tourism and culture Minister Prakash Pant during our chat last month in this portal. He just gave satisfactory reply that Govt is working on it.

As regards of loading vidoe. You can create acount on youtube where u can video whereas for audito. There is espnis site and the same procedure also you have to follow there.

Thirdly, the quailtiy of the UK's album, we have already brough this issue to the notice of some prominent people of music field. Let hope for the better music.

Yes Joshi Ji..

But they have assured us to be careful in future and produce better quaility of music. I know some outsiders are into our music just to earn money but it is the prime responsibility of our people to promote our music national and international level in addition to making it their livelihood.

I was quite shocked to see one music album where the girl was playing Gitar singing pahadi on a top of hill (on top of the stone) and her attire was not at all as per the pahadi culture.

I listen you music and found it to be good. Since you are into this field, please raise this issue in various plateform time to time so that alteast these people fear to make any such experiement.

my new folk pop song is coming this month in the market.....
written and composed by me....you must hear this song. Pure indian masala but even then kumaoni folk...
