Is Uttarakhand Self Reliance State - क्या उत्तराखंड आत्मनिर्भर राज्य बन सकता है?

It has always said that Uttarakhand has a lot natual resources etc. Do you think that Uttarakhand become a self reliance state in coming future.

Kindly give you views on the subject.

Here is the statement of UK Chief Minster and he belives that UK can become a self reliance state as it has a lot natural resources.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Maj Gen (Retd) B C Khanduri today said the state has natural resources in abundance and could be developed into a self-sufficient and self-reliant state.

Speaking at the 7th anniversary celebration of Uttarakhand formation, he said the state was formed after a long struggle for the development of the hilly areas.

Citing the reason for the formation Mr Khanduri said the hilly areas were neglected and its natural resources were not utilised properly.

He pointed out that Uttarakhand had natural resources in abundance and if properly utilised it could lead the state to self-sufficiency and self-reliance. He said that the state had the potential in power sector and rich forest and herbal resources.

''Though it is a long way to reach horizon of prosperity, nevertheless the step has been already taken towards it,'' he asserted. Mr Khanduri urged the people to support the government in developing the state to a model state in the country. He claimed, in its eight months tenure, Bharatiya Janata Party government had taken the government to public by organising 'Janta Milan' programmes where people could register their grievances directly to him or the concerned authorities. He said that one out many achievements of his government was the transparency in governance.

Mr Khanduri also released an Information Department's souvenir "Hamara Prayas-Jan Jan Ka vikas" on the occasion.

There is doubt that UK  has plenty of resouces to be self dependent state but i feel that these resources have not been utilized by the none of the ruled in UK so far. Otherwise, the condition of the state would be much more better.

In two aspect Uttarkahand has huge potentiality. Tourism and natural resources like water.

If these resources are utilized properly, UK can emerge as a developed state.

I am sure if the natural resources are utilized properly Uttarakhand has fair chances of becoming a self reliance state provided there should not be any corruption.

The area from where UKs economy can boost is tourism, rich natural water resources from which electricity can be generated.

बहुत ही अच्छा विषय आपने हमारे समक्ष रखा है, आत्मनिर्भर राज्य बनाने के लिये हमारे सत्त्ता तंत्र को दृढ़ विश्वास के साथ पूरी ईमानदारी से कार्य करना होगा. जो संसाधन हमारे पास उपलब्ध हैं, उनका सही दोहन और विपणन भी करना होगा. ऊर्जा के लिये पानी का हमारे पास असीमित भंडार है, पर्यटन और तीर्थाटन भी अपनी अग्रणी भूमिका दे ही रहा है, जड़ी बूटी के संवर्धन और उचित दोहन व विपणन के लिये भी सरकार को सही इच्छा शक्ति के साथ कार्य करना होगा.
        सबसे बड़ी बात यह है कि जो संसाधन हमारे पास हैं, उनका उचित दोहन हो, तो आत्मनिर्भर तो छोटी बात है, उत्तराखण्ड देश का अग्रणी राज्य बन सकता है..!

One area is where we have good chances of earning money is Hydro engergy.

Nothing will be change if we did not plan properly. We need least 10 to 20 years plan ahead to be self reliance state.

What we need is to improve small storage of waters across the Uttrakhand; develop more Energy sector, Tourism, Education, RND centers, High-tech Medical Centers, Yoga center is well known we need some more marketing.

Road Infrastructure need to improve, Airport facility, Rope way system across the Uttrakhand need to develop.

We have to keep the Crime rate remain low to win the confidence of the Local & Global tourist.

I am confident Uttarakhand become a self reliance state in coming future.
