हिन्दी गानों को as it is  तर्जुमा कर कुमाऊंनी या गढ़वाली में गाया जा रहा है जो कि एक गलत परम्परा है, सिर्फ पैसा कमाने के लिये अपनी संस्कृति के साथ खिलवाड़ न तो उचित है ना ही काबिले बर्दाश्त..!
इस तरह के कई गाने मंने you-tube में भी देखे, लीजिये इन गानों का स्तर आप भी ...

The worst thing i have observed in our songs is that most of the songs are being composed based on HIndi Movies rhythem. This is just not matching with our folk and seems to be award.

One more thing about the new songs is language, the words are very erratic, costume is all bombayya and there is no concern about Pahari culture.

Fully agree with your views. We had recently met Anil Bisht Ji and we discussed this issue with him.

He accepted this and assured to look into this issue on his coming projects.

These days Music Albums are bending away from their goal. We listen local music, coz we wanna know about our values and trends. But these videos have only shooting place and lyrics as Uttrakhandi.. Rest is .... u know....

But it is not an issue the problem is we dont have more quality artists to present quality products and newcomers dont have any metor to follow.  Now we have to go to the roots, only young children and old legends collectively do something about it.
Legends like Narendra Singh Negi, Girda, Sher Singh Bisht, Hira Singh Rana can prepare young chidren of age below 10 for a quality Uttarakhand Folk.  Since present time Artists are under immense pressure for their existence, commercial obligations and living and dont have time to think about the quality and social responsibilities of an artist.
