Dosto,

No introduction is required to this name " Shree Gopal Babu Goswami". It would be an exaggeration if we give a title for him "Founder of Uttarakhandi Folk Music. Goswami ji belonged to Dwarahat of Almora Distt. In earlier days, he used to perform in Ram Leela and musical stage shows.

The credit of recording of Uttarakhandi Songs in albums goes to Goswami Ji. He gave numerable number of Hit album during his Career but cruel hands of destiny snapped this gem of ours at an early age of 56. Though, Goswami ji is not amongst us but his dedicated contribution towards Uttarakhandi Music will always be remembered till there is Sun & Moon.

Myor Uttarakhand Group is going to organize a cultural program fully dedicated to Shree Gopal Babu Goswami. The details of the program is as under:

   Venue         -   B K Dutt Colony Hall, Karbala adjoining Lodi Colony Railway Station.
