Tribute To Movement Martyrs - उत्तराखण्ड राज्य आन्दोलन के शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि

It's a wonderful idea to have this subject on the forum. 

I have one request.  Six people lost their lives during the 'Bharat Choro" Andolan of 1942 ('August Kranti' for some) in Village Khumar, Patti Palla Salt, District Almora on 5th September, 1942.  One of our honorable members here belongs to that Village.  I request that member, or any other member of this esteemed group, to please educate/inform us about those martyrs and the incident.  I may add here that there is a 'SHAHEED SMARAK' at that place and every year on 5th September, politicians go through the ritualistic salute to the martyrs.

Hi Mehta jew, yaar ye saari info website pe bhi deni chahiye,,,,,aap kuch theme banao aur in namoo ko hum loog website pe denge,....we may plan a worldwide shradhanjali to all Uttarakhandi Sher on coming 9 Nov, so plz do soemthing for that, try to get pics of them, and then we wud provide the info on home page on 9th, and each member wud circulate at least 21 mails to salute them ,,,,how does it sound ,,,,let me knw,.,,plz plz

आंदोलनकारियों के सपनों का राज्य बनाएगी सरकार

ऋषिकेश (देहरादून)। मुख्यमंत्री भुवन चंद्र खंडूड़ी ने कहा कि उत्तराखंड को आंदोलनकारियों के सपनों का राज्य बनाने के प्रति सरकार वचनबद्ध है। पूर्ववर्ती सरकार पर निशाना साधते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस के कार्यकाल में भ्रष्टाचार हावी रहा, भाजपा सरकार व्यवस्था को पटरी पर लाएगी।
   मुख्यमंत्री बनने के बाद पहली बार नगर आगमन पर कार्यकर्ताओं ने श्री खंडूड़ी का पार्टी कार्यालय में स्वागत किया। इस दौरान जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए उन्होंने कांग्रेस पर जमकर निशाना साधा। उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस सरकार ने जनता पर अन्याय किए। पटवारी व कांस्टेबलों की भर्ती में जमकर भ्रष्टाचार किया गया। भाजपा सरकार व्यवस्था को पटरी पर लाएगी और आंदोलनकारियों के सपनों का राज्य बनाया जाएगा। आंदोलनकारियों की पीड़ा व राज्य के प्रति उनके समर्पण को देखते हुए सरकार उत्तराखंड को देश का सबसे विकसित व संपन्न राज्य बनाने के लिए कटिबद्ध है। भविष्य में होने वाली नियुक्तियों में भ्रष्टाचार न हो, इसके लिए प्रभावी व्यवस्था की गई है। श्री खंडूड़ी ने कहा कि कार्यकर्ताओं को सहूलियत व उनकी सही मांगों को पूर्ण करना पार्टी का कर्तव्य है, किंतु पार्टी की नीति सत्ता का उपयोग सेवा करने के लिए रही है, न कि सुख भोगने के लिए। इसको ध्यान में रखते हुए कार्यकर्ताओं को सरकार को समर्थन देना चाहिए। तीर्थनगरी में लंबे समय से अटकी विभिन्न योजनाओं को शीघ्र पूरा करने का आश्वासन देते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि विकास कार्यो में धन की कमी आड़े नहीं आने दी जाएगी। पूर्व राज्यसभा सदस्य मनोहर कांत ध्यानी ने कहा कि सरकार को हिमालयी संस्कृति को बचाकर बढ़ते पलायन पर रोक लगाने के लिए प्रभावी योजना बनानी होगी। विधायक प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल ने बापू ग्राम को राजस्व ग्राम घोषित करने, ट्रांसपोर्ट नगर स्थापित करने, सौंग नदी पुल से टोल बैरियर हटाने, कृषि मंडी की स्थापना सहित विभिन्न मांगें मुख्यमंत्री के समक्ष रखीं। कार्यक्रम को जिलाध्यक्ष ओमवीर सिंह राघव व पूर्व विधायक राजेंद्र शाह ने भी संबोधित किया।
