                         नरेंद्र मोदीक मंहगाई दगड़ मुखसौड़

                                        चबोड़्या : भीष्म कुकरेती

जिस जमीं पे पैर रखूं भूचाल वहां आता है

जमीं तो जमीं आस्मां भी थर्राता है

नरेंद्र मोदी - ये भै डराइबर भाई ! कैसेट म गाणा त तू सही टैम पर चलांदी भै !

ड्राइवर - जी इथगा मंत्री अर प्रधान मंत्र्युं  दगड़ काम कर्युं च त पता च बल कौं तैं कै बगत क्या चयेंद।

नरेंद्र मोदी - अरे ! अरे ! या बिगरैलि बांद क्वा च ? इथगा बढ़िया आकर्षक कपड़ा , सर्पणी जन धमेली , चमेली जन सुगंध छुड़ण वळि बांद क्वा च ?

बिगरैलि बांद  - ले मि तैं नि पछ्याण ?

नरेंद्र मोदी -ना।

बिगरैलि बांद  - ले अफु त तीन न्यूत देकि भट्याइ छौ अर अब पुछणु छे मि कु छौं। 
नरेंद्र मोदी - पर मीन तो चीन कु प्रधान मंत्री तैं न्यूत दे छौ।

बिगरैलि बांद  -पहचान कौन ?

नरेंद्र मोदी -सची मीन त्वै तैं कबि नि द्याख।

बिगरैलि बांद  -अच्छा एक क्लू दींदु।
नरेंद्र मोदी -क्या च क्लू ?

बिगरैलि बांद  -चुनावुं टैम फर त तू मौक़ा दर मौक़ा  पर बुल्दु छौ आएंगे , आएंगे    ......

नरेंद्र मोदी -हाँ अच्छे दिन आएंगे बुल्दु त जरूर छौ

अच्छे  दिन -हाँ त मि अच्छे दिन ही छौं।
नरेंद्र मोदी -पर अच्छा दिन त पुल्लिंग च अर तू त सजीली , सुंदर , कजरारी स्त्री छे।

अच्छे  दिन -ह्यां दिन , रात असल मा ना त पुल्लिंग छ ना स्त्रीलिंग।  यी त न्यूट्रल जेंडर छन।

नरेंद्र मोदी -हाँ ! या बात त सै च।

अच्छे  दिन -अब देख ना मंहगाई छ त न्यूट्रल जेंडर पर तुम लोग वीं तैं स्त्रीलिंग बथौँदा।
नरेंद्र मोदी -नाम नि ले वीं करमजात मंहगाई कु , मि तैं मिल जा ना तो मि वीं तैं पाकिस्तान भेजी द्यूं।

अच्छे  दिन -कनो अबि तलक हाथ नि आयि।

नरेंद्र मोदी -मि तैं जरा कखि वा करमजली मंsगैs  कैं बि हाल मा कखि दिख जा ना तो मि वींक कचूमर बणै द्यूं , वीं कळमुंडिक खग्वट बैठे द्यूं , वीं कुलंगारिक कतल करि द्यूं।

अच्छे  दिन -कनो वा मंहगाई काबू मा नि आणि च ?
नरेंद्र मोदी -मीन अपण मंत्री , सचिव , जयललिता , ममता, दिग्विजय सिंह सब तैं काबू मा कौर ऐन , इख तलक कि बड़ा -बड़ा कारोबारी , चीन , जापान , अमेरिका , ब्रिटेन का  राष्ट्रध्यक्षुं तैं काबु कौर याल।  किंतु  वा    कालसर्पणी  ,  कुसण्या, कुकरतबी काबु मा नि आणि च।

अच्छे  दिन -पर तीन मंहगाई तैं कम करणो कदम उठै छन कि ना ?

नरेंद्र मोदी -अरे कथगा इ सिद्ध कामयाब कदम उठैन किंतु वा कालिंदारी , कुबाणिक , कुस्वाणी ,कुमेसणी , कौंखाण्या (दुर्गन्ध युक्त ), क्वासिकाणी (निपट अंधी ) मंहगाई कम हूँणै जगा बढ़णी ही च।  ग्यूं -चौंळ  तो ठीक च पर दाळ अर भुज्युं दाम कम नि हूणा छन।

अच्छे  दिन - तो भुज्जी अर दाळ बि सरकारी रासनूं दुकान्युं मा पौंछे देदि।
नरेंद्र मोदी -वी त मुस्किल च।  सब्जी दुकान्युंम पौंछद पौंछद सड़ जांद अर दाळ पर टेर (दाळ कीड़ा ) लग जांदन।   

अच्छे  दिन -पर तुमर प्रवक्ता तो किराणा रौंदन कि मंहगाई काबू मा च। 

नरेंद्र मोदी - वु त राजनैतिक रणनीति का तहत चिल्लाणा छन की मंहगाई कम ह्वे गे , मंsगैs कम ह्वै गे।

अच्छे  दिन -ह्यां पर मंहगाई कम करी देदी।  टैक्स  कम कर देदी , सब्सिडी बढ़ै देदि।
नरेंद्र मोदी -टैक्स कम करुल अर सब्सिडी बढ़ौल तो फिस्कल डेफिसिट बढ़ जाल अर फिर विदेशी निवेश नि ऐ सकुद। अर फिस्कल डेफिसिट बढ़ जावो तो मंहगाई और बढ़ जांद।

अच्छे  दिन -हे भग्यान ! तो तीन चुनावुं बगत लोगुं क्या अपण धुर विरोध्युं मन मा इथगा आशा किलै भौर कि मंहगाई कम ह्वै जाली।  ममता बनर्जी , सोनिया गांधी , मुलायम सिंग बि बिचारा आस लगैक बैठ्याँ छन कि नरेंद्र मोदी ऐ ग्याई तो मंहगाई कम ह्वै जालि।

नरेंद्र मोदी -मि मर्द तैं जनानी बणै द्योलु पर यीं मंहगाई तैं काबू नि कौर सकणु छौं।

अच्छे  दिन -बिचौलियों पर काबू कौर ना !
नरेंद्र मोदी -हूँ ! मीन भारतौ इतिहास पौढ़।  जै बि राजा , सम्राट , बादशाह , कलेक्टरन बिचौलियों तैं काबू करणै कोशिश कार बिचौलियोंन  वैको ही राज खतम करवै दे।

अच्छे  दिन - तो फिर ?
नरेंद्र मोदी -करलु त अवश्य , किन्तु समय लगल जरा।  अरे अरे ! तू अब बदसूरत , काळी -कलूटी , दुर्गन्धयुक्त किलै दिखेणि छे ?

अच्छे  दिन -किलैकि मि अच्छे दिन का भेष मा मंहगाई छौ।
नरेंद्र मोदी -अरे अरे ! कख भाजी गए तू , पकड़ मा ऐक बि तू हाथ से निकळ गे।
नरेंद्र मोदी - ड्राइवर ! वा जनानी कख भाग ?
ड्राइवर - कखि ना ।
नरेंद्र मोदी - नै नै ! मीन सैंदष्टि (सदृश्य ) द्याख अर वींक दगड़ बात बि कार।
ड्राइवर - प्रधान मंत्री जी ! वा अच्छे दिन या मंहगाई नि छे।
नरेंद्र मोदी - तो क्वा छे ?
ड्राइवर - वा त प्रधान मंत्रीको भरम छौ , गलतफहमी छे ।
नरेंद्र मोदी - प्रधान मंत्रीको भरम, गलतफहमी  ?
ड्राइवर - हाँ हरेक प्रधान मंत्री को एक भरम  हूंद कि वा या वु मंहगाई कम करिक अच्छे दिन लै सकद। सर ये कैसेट सूणां

 History of Gorkhas/Nepali Attack on Ganga Salan Garhwal (Langurgarh)

              Gorkhas or Nepali strategists in Kumaon did not follow the conventional path for attacking on Garhwal from Kumaon.  Nepali/Gorkha commanders of Kumaon called new well trained and well armed army from Nepal. It was necessary to cross Kaliganga at Brahmdev Mandi to reach Kathgodam from Nepal. The road from Almora via Chhakhata, Bhimtal, Tarai met here. From Brahm Dev Mandi the raod goes to Kashipur via Chilkiya (present Ramnagar) . From Ramnagar , the road goes to Bhabhar, Kotdwara , Salan Garhwal via Kalagarh by crossing Ramganga River. From Bhabhar, Kotdwara, road goes to Shrinagar via Dwarikhal, Langurgarh  (still today footpath road goes to Shrinagar via Dwarikhal).
  Another reason for taking the above rout was that ex-Kumaon King Mahendra Chand and his uncle Lal Singh tried to attack on Kumaon from Birgul in between Gangol Ppatti and Sipti Patti. Gorkha defeated Mahendra Chandra at Birgul. They tried to attack on Kumaon via Balkheri valley. Therefore, it was essential for Gorkhas to control Tarai –Bhabhar of kumaon too to stop invasion of Mahendra Chand. By attacking on Salan (South of Garhwal), it was easy to watch on South of Kumaon too.
            Gorkha Army Cordoning or Surrounding Langurgarh
  Due to Gorkha army reaching to South of Kumaon, Garhwal King kept an army at Langurgarh (Langur and near Dwarikhal, Goomkhal).  Langurgarh was very strong Garh or fort. There is Bhairav statue there. The slop from South (coming from Kotdwara or Duggadda) was aprotecting slop for Langurgarhi as soldiers could throw or push heavy stones to harm soldiers coming from slop to Langurgarh. The North Slop reaches to Nayar (near Satpuli, Banghat etc.  There was water source too in Langurgarhi. The food supply could come from raskil, Barsudi, villages and other villages from Northern slop.
        Gorkha first planned to capture Abhedya (unwinnable) Langurgarh. They marched to Kotdwara, Bhabhar. When Nepal/Gorkha army attacked on Kotdwara Bhabhar, Garhwal Army did not resist. When Gorkha reached at the south valley of Langurgarh, in 1791, Garhwal army threw big stones on Nepal Army.  By hard work, Gorkha army reached to Langurgarh. It was not possible for Gorkha army to win there with Garhwal army. Nepal or Gorkha army surrounded Langurgarh and dug trench on another hill just opposite of Langurgarh (Kutalmanda) .  Garhwali army used to trap Gorkha soldiers by attacking them in one post and then used to get food etc from villages. Gorkha Army surrounded Langurgarh for one year but was unable to capture Langurgarh fort. Langurgarh was the door to reach Shrinagar.

सच की आँखी मोतीबिन्दु , झूठा आँखा छाळा छन
बुरै चमकणी च चम्म , भलै फरै जाळा छन।
बैला -बांजs घास पींडु खैकि उतण हुयाँ छन
जौंन अन्नै दाणी कमै उंका गिच्चों म्वाळ छन।
मनखि बिरड़ि कांठि उजड़ि रंग ढंग बिगड़ि गे
डाळि बूटी कुल्हड़ि खैगे डाळा  बण्या डाला छन।
डिस्कों डांस  दर्वाजा सब्युं कुण खुल्यां छन
थड्या गीत चौंफळौ  घार लग्यां ताळा छन।
सत्तू रैगै सासु मा सपड़ांग रैगै ब्वारि  मा
मैल्या मुलक गाणि रैगे तैल्या मुलक क्याळा छन।
विधाता कि पोथि का तु द्वी वचन हि गेड़ धैर
अद्दा दिन त ग्वारा , 'जुयाल' अद्दा दिन काळा छन।

                               भावी बहू द्वारा भावी सास का कड़क इंटरव्यू

भावी  बहू की ब्वे - गुंदरी  का डैडी ! सूणो ! सी लड़काक घौर ऐ तुम ऊख एक लफज बि नि बुलिन हाँ।
गुंदरी  - यस डैड ! आप प्लीज चुप इ रैन।  मा अर मि लड़का अर लड़का की माँ का इंटरव्यू ले ल्यूंला।
नौनी  बुबा (मन मा ) - मीन आज तक बवाल बि च क्या ?
नौनीक ब्वे - ले सी दरवज बि ऐ गे।  सूणो मीन बुलणो मना कार छौ , घंटी बजाणो मना नि कार !
भितर बिटेन नौनाक बुबा भैर आन्दन - सुस्वागतम , वेलकम की वेलकम।  बैठो  सि सम्यणक सोफ़ा मा आप बैठ जावो।  अर ये सोफ़ा मा मि , म्यार नौनु अर मेरि वाइफ बैठी जाली। यु म्यार नौनु च।
नौनी - वेरी गुड अरेंजमेंट हाँ !
नौनीक ब्वे - आपका पुत्रक  प्रोफाइल हमन  देखि आल छौ अर सोसल मीडिया मा बि टटोळ।  ही इज वेरी सफोस्टिकेटेड, इंटेलिजेंट  ऐंड दगड़म स्मार्ट बि लगद हाँ। बाइ द वे नौनक ब्वे नि दिख्याणी छन ?
नौनी  बुबा ( अपण कज्याणिक  कन्दुड़म ) यां तब तक नौनाक इंटरव्यू ले लेदि
नौनिक ब्वे (गुस्सा मा ) - वो हो  हमर बेटी उस्ताद च।  नौनु कथगा बि खुर्रांट होलु व वै पर कब्जा जमै देली।  तुम  खुर्रांट नि छया ? कार च कि ना मीन तुम पर कब्जा ?भावी सास महत्वपूर्ण च।
नौनाक बुबा - ल्या सि ऐ गे मेरी मिसेज ऐक्स  ! मि फिर से सब्युंक परिचय करांदु  ......।
नौनि - त मिसेज ऐक्स ! आप सुबेर कथगा बजि बिज जांदा।
नौनक ब्वे - बुबा बिजणो ले क्या च।  मि त टैम पर हि बिज जांद। सुबेर सुबेर बिजण त मेरी सासुन सिखै दे त   ... ।
नौनी - मिसेज ऐक्स यु त क्वी जबाब नि ह्वे।
नौनिक ब्वे -असल मा  मेरि गुंदरीक निंद तब तलक खुल्दि नी च जब तलक वींक बेड मा चाय अर चार अखोड़ लग्यां बिस्कुट नि ह्वावन। वै मामला मा वा बिलकुल में पर   जईं च। सुबेर  बिजणो मामला मेरी सासु बड़ी अनुशासनप्रिय च त हम दुयूं तैं बिजदी चाय अर बिस्किट मिल जांदन।
नौनी - मिसेज ऐक्स ! आप तैं कॉन्टिनेंटल ब्रेकफास्ट बणाण बि आंद  ?
लड़काक  ब्वे - बुबा ! ब्रेकफास्ट बणाण त आंद च।  पर यु कॉन्टिनेंटल ब्रेकफास्ट ?
लड़की   ब्वे - पास्ता , बनि बनिक सूप आदि।  क्या च मि तैं अर गुंदरी तैं हफ्ता मा तीन दिन कॉन्टिनेंटल ब्रेकफास्ट खाणो ढब पड्युं च।  अर मेरी मदर इन लॉ कॉन्टिनेंटल ब्रेकफास्ट बणाण मा एक्सपर्ट च।  भै मि त बड़ी भाग्यशाली छौं कि मि तैं इथगा बढ़िया सास मिलीं ,
च। मेरी सासु तैं हर तरांक ब्रेकफास्ट बणाण आंद च।
नौनी - मिसेज ऐक्स ! इंडियन वेज -नॉन वेज कुइजिन का अलावा तुम तैं इटालियन , फ्रेंच , स्पेनिश कुइजिन बणाण बि आंद ?
नौनक  ब्वे - इटालियन , फ्रेंच , स्पेनिश कुइजिन बणाण का मतबल ?
लड़किक ब्वे - हाँ उ मेरी गुंदरी तैं हफ्ता मा इटालियन , फ्रेंच , स्पेनिश कुइजिन खाणो आदत जि पड़ी च।  मेरी सासु बड़ी लगनशील मनख्याण च।  मेरी सासुन म्यार बान यूरोपियन कुइजिन बणाण सीख।
नौनी - मिसेज ऐक्स आप तैं गढ़वाळि खाणक बणान त आंदु ही ह्वाल जन कि फाणु , बाड़ी , पळयो -छंछ्या , झंग्वर आदि आदि ?
लड़काक माँ - ना बुबा म्यार जलम गढ़वाळ से भैर ह्वाइ तो  गढ़वळि खाणक बणाण नि आंद।
नौनी (रुंद भौण मा )- मम्मी ! इस हालात में मै अपनी संस्कृति कैसे बचा सकती हूँ।?
नौनिक ब्वे - गुदरी ! डोंट वरी ! तेरी दादी मिसेज ऐक्स तैं गढ़वाळि कुइजिन बणाण सिखै द्याली ना !
लड़की - अच्छा आप तैं गढ़वाली गीत अर नृत्य त आंद ही होला ?
लड़काक माँ - क्या ?
नौनिक ब्वे - वु क्या च मेरि गुंदरी अर म्यार मनण च कि हम तैं अपण गढवळि कल्चर प्रोटेक्ट करण चयेंद तो नृत्य अर गीत  ...... जब बि म्यार या मेरी बेटीक दगड्या हमर घौर आंदन त मेरी सासु बढ़िया गीत गांदन अर गढवळि डांस बि करदन।  वी इंज्वॉय ए लौट !
लड़काक माँ - मि तैं त नि आंद यी बादी -बदिणी स्वांग !
नौनी (रुणफती ह्वेक ) - मम्मी ! हौ विल आई प्रोटेक्ट ऐंड प्रोमोट  माई  कल्चर ?
लड़कीक ब्वे - व्हाइ टु वरी ? तेरी दादी मिसेज ऐक्स तैं एथनिक डांस -सौंग  सब सिखै द्याली ना !
लड़का - एक बात बथावो आप मै से त क्वी सवाल इ नि पुछणा छंवां ? सब सवाल मेरी मांजी से ही करणा छंवां।  क्या बात च ?
लड़कीक  ब्वे - वु क्या च हम इन खानदान खुज्याणा छंवां जख मेरी बेटी तैं सासु सुख मीलो !
लड़काक  बुबा - मीन सूण बल तुम अपण लड़का कुण बि ब्वारि ढुंढणा छंवां ?
नौनिक ब्वे - हाँ ।
लड़काक बुबा - कन ब्वारि खुज्याणा छंवां ?
लड़कीक  ब्वे - ज्वा नौनी मि तैं ब्वारिक सुख दे द्यावो।

              Gorkhas were more or equal than Muslim invaders in cruelly harassing, oppressing and suppressing people.  Gorkha army camped in Langoorgarh for one year. The soldiers used to go for food etc to nearby villages and used to loot villages cruelly.
           There are various folk tales about oppressions of Gorkha soldiers in Gangasalan, Malla Salan, Talla Salan. The soldiers used to loot food, grains, milk, curd, ghee etc. They used to take animals with them. Gorkha soldiers used to take women with them too and women were behaved by Gorkhas as consumable items.  Gorkhas used to plough on standing crops to spread their terror.
                  Call from Deities and Goddesses
             The phrase was reinitiated or faith re-came in existence that village deities and goddesses call villagers for informing coming of Gorkhas near the village.
                 Running away from village by villagers

             People started living in forests due to cruel oppression of Gorkhas. Still, we find the ruined huts or walls in ruined conditions in villages built in the time of Gorkhas. A couple of people used to stand on top of hills and used to call their people as soon as they watch Grokhas arrival. The villagers used to run into dense forest.
   The villagers were afraid that Gorkhas would come into village by seeing smoke. The villagers stopped cooking food in day time and started cooking food in night only. People started keeping money or jewelries in a pot and that pot was dug in a cave or elsewhere.
There was no peace in Gangaslan and Badalpur region (nearby Bhabhar, Dugdda, Dwarikhal or Langoorgarh).
  Garhwal King could not act to protect its subject from Gorkha oppressions.
                China attacking on Nepal
             Gorkhas were unsuccessful in winning Langoorgarh. Gorkhas were arranging second attack on Langoor Garh. Gorkhas were ruling Tibet. In the mean time, in 1792, Quing Empire China attacked on Nepal.
Nepal King sent message to Kumaon commander to bring armed forces to Nepal. Nepal King asked them to hand over Kumaon to Harsh Dev Joshi.
                       Treaty with Garhwal Kingdom
   It was not possible for Gorkha soldiers to be in Langoorgarh. Force was to shift to Nepal. However, wisely Gorkha commander put pressure on Garhwal King to sign a treaty. Following were the conditions of traty for Garhwal King-
1-Garhwal Kingdom would pay annual tribute for rupees three thousand.
2-On its own cost, Garhwal Kingdom would keep its advocate in Nepal court
3-Nepal court would keep advocate in Garhwal court at the expense of Garhwal Kingdom.
             Pradyuman Shah was already a weak King due to regular treacheries of his brother Parakram and Garhwal administrators. Garhwal King did not have a choice to accept insulting conditions of Nepal commander. Garhwal King accepted the conditions of Gorkha commander.
  Atkinson stated that Garhwal King used to pay annual tribute of twenty five thousand rupees. Atkinson did not mention anything about Nepali representative in Shrinagar Court. However, Repar who visited Shrinagar in Gorkha rule period (1808) mentioned that Nepal representative was there in Srinagar court. Repar also mentioned that initially annual tribute was three thousand rupees.

                          Harsh Dev Joshi Escaping
             The most Selfish personality of Uttarakhand History, Harsh Dev Joshi not only brought foreign rule in Kumaon but also paved the way for foreign rule in Garhwal too.
              When, Nepal King called major force from Kumaon and Garhwal to Nepal, the Nepal King wanted one to one dialogue with Harsh Dev Joshi. Nepalis handed over Kumaon to Joshi. Gorkha/Nepali commanders took Harsh Dev Joshi with them for Nepal. Harsh Dev was conscious about bad days in Nepal.  Harsh Dev escaped from Nepali force and ran towards Johar.  Within shortest time, there was treaty between China and Nepal and Gorkha force retuned to Kumaon.  It was not possible for Joshi to collect his supporters in Almora in the presence of Gorkhas there.
     In Johar, Johariyas (now with Fartyal group) captured Harsh Dev Joshi and informed his enemies Lal Singh, Mahendra Chand (ex Kumaon King) those were staying in Tarai region. Mahendra Chand sent his community brother Padma Singh to bring Harsh Dev to him.
                Padma Singh went to Johar to bring Harsh Dev. The wisest diplomat of Uttarakhand in its whole history, Harsh Dev Joshi lured Padma Singh to become Kumaon King. Harsh Dev Joshi trapped Padma Singh very well. Harsh Dev Joshi took Padma Singh to Shrinagar. Harsh Dev Joshi asked help of Garhwal King Pradyuman Shah for eradicating of Gorkhas from Kumaon.  Pradyuman Shah had already taken vow not to involve himself in Kumaon politics. Pradyuman Shah refused to help them for attacking on Gorkhas in Kumaon.
              Padma Singh returned to Tarai with his soldiers. Harsh Dev was in Shrinagar for some time. Atkinson stated that Harsh Dev tried to convince Pradyuman Shah to attack on Gorkhas. However, Pradyuman and Parakram refused to do so.
                              Harsh Dev in Almora

                  Harsh Dev sent messages to Gorkhas in Almora and convinced them that he was pro-Gorkhas. Harsh Dev Joshi went to Almora.
Mahendra Chand tried to defeate Gorkhas twice and both the times, Gorkhas failed his efforts getting back Kumaon Kingdom. Harsh dev Joshi and his group Mahar group also supported Gorkhas.
