Would You Return To UK - विस्थापित पहाड़ी क्या उत्तराखंड वापस लौटना चाहिगे?

Dost,o,

Migration from pahad is till continue even after formation of the state.  During a survey it was said that almost  35 lacs Uttarakhandi are living in Delhi only.  The cases are almost similar in other metro cities. We are conducting a survey here specially for migrated Uttarakhandi, if  our Uttarakhandi people who are living in various Metro Cities get  job in Uttarakhand, would they like to go back and serve in the mother or not .

Kindly give your views on this issue and also mention the reasons forr favour and not in favour.

जहाँ तक मेरा अपना सवाल है. ! मै जरुर जाना चाहूँगा. क्योकि की मे पूरी तरह से विस्थापित नही हूँ!


Had i got any job there, i would not have come from pahad. Recently, 3-4 families have moved from  village for better education etc of rhtier children.

This is the issue which relates to development of the state. I am sure people would not move from pahad if they jobs there and other amenities are available there.

Yes I will definitely return back to my state, if i get a chance.
I am in between my career life and my student life, so it will be easy for me to relocate myself to pahad.

I am waiting for that good chance.

my son is just 4 years old.. o khud kahata hai papa hum apne gaon mai kyon nahi rahte.. jo is waqat use jabab dena kuch musikil hai..

per jaldi hi mai bhi khud apne pahad mai ja kar aur waha kar rah kar bhi hum bahut khuch kar sakte hai...

One thing is defiantly astonishing, after receiving the views from different members, pahadi who are living in metro cities wish to back but thousands of villages have emptied in pahadi. It means Uttarakhandi in hill areas which are working in various / armed services wish to go out of pahad for better future prospect of their children.

Joshi Ji,

I appreciate your comments on this issue but in my case, as I mentioned earlier also that, I am not fully migrated from pahad. I family is very much there.  If  I get a job there then I can surly go there but as far as the development is concerned, we will have to send our children outside for better education.  Presently,  most of the people are also migrating from pahad due to poor education etc etc.
