How To Stop Migration From Uttarakhand? - उत्तराखंड से विस्थापन कैसे रोके?

Dosto,

It has been over 9 year since Uttarakhand state formed. After a long struggle we got the new state but it is sad that there is no decrease in migraton. People are migrating from Uttarakhand at the same pace as it was earlier.

What do you think the reasons behind this and how can migration be decreased ?

In my opinion, any of the party Govt in Uttarakhand has been failed to gerate enough employment opportunity resulting in people have to move in other states for better future prospects. Though i agree, we can not stopped this fully but there should have been downfall on this front.

I would request that Govt should provide more and more employement opportunity and also try to emplore the possiblities of small industries in hill areas.

Upadhyay ji, app se aisi ummid nahin thi.  All along, you have been posting great views.  Now why just a simplistic solution?  I request you as well as other members of this forum to give a thought to the problem and discuss the viable solutions.  Of course, we need to create large number of jobs.  But, how?  There lies the solution.

First and foremost every child in our state should get proper education.Many children are there who want to study but they can not due to lack of resources.
We can start some programme where we can take responsibility of their education.
Small scale industries should be encouraged.
Lack of resources is major reason of migration ,some people if they are from good family background they are able to migrate ,with them we lose a lot of our pahari talent.If they are unable to leave then they are forced to do some local jobs.

Sir,

In view of tough geographical condition, no investors wants to set-up any industry in hill area. So we must explore employement resources inside the hill areas itself. We have huge potentiality of tourism. This area needs to be looked into. 

Education is another area which Govt must look into.

I endorse your views. However, due to financial problem several brillant student from our Uttarakhand do not puruse their higher education.

Secondly, you have pointed out about small industires to be set up in UK, yes there is scope for that but situation is that who will bell the cat. If we leave this to Govt, it has 7 yrs already passed nothing has been seen on this front.

I am from Bageshwar Disst of Uttarakhand. There is many mines of "Kharia" in Reema, Kanda and other places. This kharia is transported in Haldwani by trucks to be supplied further to Calcutta and other place. If we had a small industry in hill area to manufacture item there itself, a lot people would get the employment opportunities.
