                  Garhwalis came to know that Sudarshan Shah and British are interested in freeing them from Gurkha rule Garhwali were pleased. Garhwalis believed about freedom from Gurkha after knowing the British Army entering in Dehradun.
Hearsay played a major role in British attacking on Gorkha for freeing Kumaon and Garhwal. Minya Prem Singh (Guldast Tavarikh) wrote details about pleasure of Garhwalis for the hope of freeing from Gurkha Rule.
Garhwalis were hopeful that after some time, British army will have rule over Hills and Plains of Garhwal.
                 Salanis (South Garhwal's Garhwalis) inviting British for Attack
The South Garhwal's Garhwalis were most pleased by getting information of British entering into Dehradun.
The Langur Kamin Bagha Raut wrote a letter to company's political employee Tula Ram as (Frazier) –
"We are pleased by knowing that British Army reached to Dehradun. If British army is interested for alternate attack it should march towards Chila and Kotdwara. There are only hundred Gurkha soldiers in whole of Salan at Langur Garhi. There is no other soldier in Salan. Company should not delay in attacking Gurkha in Salan. The Kamin of Bungi - Paino is with us. When British army will reach to Langur Garhi, we shall stop all supply for Gurkha Army. However, till British army reached to Langur Garhi we cannot revolt against Gurkha. No Gurkha soldiers are coming from east (Kumaon)"
Frazier ( Himalaya Mountains) wrote that many Garhwalis from Salan wrote letter to Tula Ram

                As soon as Gurkha killed British officials and British army returned to Khurbura the Gurkha spread the news of their win over British attackers. The news reached to Shrinagar that there was fierce war between Balbhadra and British army. The information reached to Shrinagar that Balbhadra killed Gillespie and Gurkha killed many British army soldiers.
Garhwalis became frustrated after receiving the information of British loosing war. Gurkha punished many Garhwalis for conspiracy. Shiv Ram and Kashiram of Saklana were helping British. Gurkha heavily punished the family members and villagers of Shivram and Kashiram.
When Gurkha used to receive information about any Garhwali having sympathy with British Gurkha officer used to punish such Garhwali without finding the truth. Gurkha used to spread news of Gurkha army reaching to Kumaon and Garhwal for attacking British. Gurkha used to threaten Garhwalis and Kumaunis for helping Gurkha army in carrying loading and unloading the war related materials of Gurkha soldiers.
  Gurkha officers used to order villagers for sending sons or young relative for serving Gurkha soldiers. Through various means, Gurkha officers also compelled villagers for supplying food grains and tax.

   Hastings, Frazer , Sudarshan Shah , Shivram and Kashiram had hope that Garhwalis would revolt against Gurkha as soon as British army reaches to Dehradun.  Such Pamphlets were distributed among Garhwalis. However, the battle loss at Nalapani diminished the enthusiasm of opponents of Gurkha.
            Prithvi Singh of Kwilligaon/Kwiligaon wrote a letter to Tularam a supporter of British as follows-
  "You were telling that we should revolt against Gurkha regime by weapons and we should meet you in Dehradun. Our condition is worse than cow grazers. We were prosperous in Garhwal King Regime. In Gurkha regime, we did not get enough food, enough clothing. I am debt for Rs 500. ... Your army could not fight with 400 -500 Gurkha soldiers in Nalapani. How come we could revolt against Gurkha?"

Effects on Garhwalis after British Losing battle in Khalanga/Nalapani

            Gurkha were more aggressive after Maubi returned to Dehradun after losing in Nalapani.
They got time for four weeks for collecting food, other materials and repairing damaged wall of Garhi.  Williams wrote in Memoir of Dehradun that Gurkha planned for looting Saharanpur even after British army had captured Dehradun.
In this situation Garhwalis of neighboring regions were afraid helping British. Garhwalis were afraid that if British did not win war Gurkha would punish them and their families severely. Garhwalis were in favor of British but due to Gurkha's repressive nature they were not favoring British openly. Gurkha started looting Jaunsar Babar from Tehri side.
             Frazier started employing Garhwalis who willingly interested joining British establishment and who left Gurkha army too. Even then British could not find local persons for collecting tax from Dehradun till November 1814.

  परसि किसन बगोट जीक नेटवर्क 10 कु  'तीला धारो बोला ' कार्यक्रम मा भाग लीणो  वास्ता एक फोन आई।  यु प्रोग्राम गढ़वळि संस्कृति बाबत एक परिचर्चा करांद।  ब्याळि 2 बजि दिन मा ऐंकर को सवाल छौ कि कुछ 'बिगड़ैल ?' कलाकार जौं तै गाणै सलीका बि नी च उ लोग जागर शैली को छत्यानाश करणा छन।  माने जागर शैली मा कुछ बि गीत चलण लग गेन अर यी गीत  बरख पुजै , ब्यौ बरात , खौळ म्याळा मा बि बजणा छन।  किसन बगोट जी अर ऐंकर की चिंता छे कि यांसे गढवळि संस्कृति को नुक्सान हूणु च।

  जागर माने जागरण अर पैल पैलि जागर राजाओं तै जगाणो काम करदा छा बाद मा जागर धार्मिक कृत्य मा प्रयोग हूण मिसे गेन।

    म्यार मनण च यदि क्वी गीतकार या कवि अर संगीतकार जागर शैली मा गीत रचित करणा छन अर यि गीत बरख पुजै , ब्यौ बरात , खौळ म्याळा मा बजणा छन अर आम जनता यूँ जागर शैली का प्रेम गीतुं धुन पर नाचणी च तो क्या बुरु च ? क्यांक संस्कृति बिणास भै ?

इनि जब गजेन्द्र राणा का गीतुं पर यंग उत्तरांचल सोसल मीडिया मा बहस ह्वे कि गजेन्द्र राणा का गीत हळका छन , ओछा छन , संस्कृति भंजक छन तो मीन अपण विचार देनि कि यदि जनता यूं गीतुं तै पसंद करणी च , यूं गीतुं पर लोग नचणा छन अर कैसेट बिकणा छन तो हम कु छंवां कि बुलां कि गजेन्द्र राणा संस्कृति का बिणास करणा छन।

मीन नेट अर फेसबुक मा पर सतपुळी से संबंधित कुछ गैर मरद -गैर पत्नी संबंधी प्रेम लोक गीत पोस्ट करिन तो भौत सा संस्कृति का चौकीदार मे पर नराज ह्वे गेन कि या थुका  च हमारी संस्कृति।

म्यार मनण च कि कुछ गीत पैल पैल शराब का नशा का तरां जनता बीच प्रसिद्ध ह्वे जांदन जन कि सतपुळी से संबंधित कुछ गैर मरद -गैर पत्नी संबंधी प्रेम लोक गीत, गजेन्द्र राणा का गीत या अब जागर शैली मा तथाकथित संस्कृति भंजक गीत।  फिर समाज  अफिक छाण निराळ करद अर यिन गीतुं तै नेपथ्य मा डाळि दींदी जन कि सतपुळी से संबंधित कुछ गैर मरद -गैर पत्नी संबंधी प्रेम लोक गीतया गजेन्द्र राणा का गीत।  किन्तु समाज कुछ गीतुं तै समाळिक धौरी दींदु  अर ऊँ गीतुं या कथाओं तै हम अमर गीत या अमर कथाओं  नाम दे दींदा।  रामी बौराणी गीत , जीत सिंह नेगी द्वारा रचित ' तू ह्वेली बीरा उची निशि डाँड्यूं ... ' जन लोक गीत या जागरों का भड़ संबंधी गीत आदि समाजन संबाळिक धरि देन अर बकै गीतुं तैं नेपथ्य मा फेंकी दे।  या एक स्वतः सामाजिक  प्रक्रिया च।

रचनाकार , कलाकार , गीत संगीतकार तै अपणी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन करण द्यावो अर समाज छैं त च जु काम की चीज तै संबावळिक रखणो कुण।  हम किलै चौकीदारी करां भै कि कु गीत संस्कृति संवाहक च अर कु संस्कृति भंजक च।

हर युग , उपयुग , समय मा रचनाकार  , कलाकारुंन नया नया प्रयोग करिक नया गीत , नयो संगीत रची अर फिर कुछ ही गीतुं या संगीत तैं समाजन  स्वीकृति दे।  या एक स्वतः स्फुरित सामाजिक प्रक्रिया च। क्या संस्कृति तलाब च ? ना भै ना , बिलकुल ना बल्कण मा  संस्कृति तो बगदि नदी च जु स्वतः ही गंदगी साफ़ करणी रौंदी।

जागर शैली मा रच्याण वळ गीतुं पर आपकी राय , प्रतिक्रिया , सलाह क्या च जी ? अवश्य बतावो जी।  आपकी राय की जग्वाळ मा !

   अब सेक्युलर शब्द मा वा   , तैंचि , गरमी , उ दम -खम नी रै गे कि मुलायम सिंह मुसलमानुं तै ढिबर जन हकै साको।  अब कॉंग्रेस का वास्ता स्क्युलर शब्द एक प्राचीन , प्रागऐेतिहासिक , खुंडु शब्द ह्वे गे।  भाजपा का वास्ता स्यूडो सेक्युलर शब्द गुदनड़ जोग हुयुं शब्द ह्वे गे।  बिहार मा सेक्युलर शब्द का भौत सा बाप दादा ह्वे गेन अर अब धर्मनिरपेक्ष शब्द पर केवल लालू यादव का कब्जा नी च अपितु ओवेसी , एनसीपी , नीतीश आदि का बि कब्जा ह्वे गे।

आज सेक्युलर शब्द ही इरलीवेंट ह्वे गे याने औचित्यविहीन ह्वे गे। सेक्युलर शब्द अब राजनैतिक श्मशान घाट मा जळ गे। सेक्युलर शब्द का राख बि अब भारत मा नि मीलल।

  इनमा राजनैतिक रुट्टि, खिचड़ी , केक पकाणो वास्ता नया बर्तन , भांड , तवा चयेणु छौ।  अर सन 2015 की एकी उपलब्धि च कि राजनैतिक बदमाशों , राजनैतिक बदकारों, राजनैतिक पार्ट्यूं   वास्ता हमारा बुद्धिजीवियोंन द्वी शब्द दे देन। इ शब्द छन - सहिष्णुता अर असहिष्णुता अर एकाद सालम हैंको शब्द ऐ जालो सूडो टोलेरेंट या स्यूडो टोलरेंसी।

अगला दशक मा भाजपा का ख्वाळ वळ इंटॉलरेंस याने असहिष्णु माने जाल अर भाजपा विरोधी सहिष्णु याने टोलिरेंट पार्टी।

अब सबका सब राजनैतिक पट्ठा सहिष्णु अर असहिष्णु की खाल उधाड़ल।

अब सबि  राजनैतिक लोग सहिष्णु अर असहिष्णु की नई परिभाषा अपण सहूलियत से द्याला।

अब सबि राजनैतिक सोच वळ , समर्थक सहिष्णु अर असहिष्णु शब्दों की डंडलि सजाला।

सहिष्णु अर असहिष्णु शब्द अब राजनैतिक स्वार्थ की बलिबेदी मा बलि का बकरा बौणल।

सहिष्णु अर असहिष्णु शब्दों से अब नया नया भाषण तयार होला।  नया नया लाल कृष्ण आडवाणी , नया नया  दिग्विजय सिंह , नया नीतीश कुमार , नई नई ममता बनर्जी -मायावती , नया नया अकरुद्दीन ओवेसी पैदा ह्वाल जु सहिष्णु अर असहिष्णुशब्दों की ऐसी तैसी कारल।

अगला दशक मा  जनता अब सहिष्णु अर असहिष्णु  शब्दुं का बीच पिसे जाली।

जनता तै अब दाळ की जगा सहिष्णु अर असहिष्णु शब्द खलाये जालो।

जनता तै अब कपड़ा  ना सहिष्णु अर असहिष्णु  की लंगोट पैराये जालो।

अगला दशक मा  अब जनता तै सहिष्णु अर असहिष्णु द्वारा फिर से बेवकूफ बणाये जालो अर अशिक्षा , कुपोषण , सुविधा मा सुधार की जगा सहिष्णु अर असहिष्णु शब्दों मा सुधार की छ्वीं लगलि।

क्या मि कुछ गलत बुलणु छौं ?
