Chandan Singh lives in above that village. One night Chandan Singh saw adream. In dream, he saw a snake. The snake was strolling around him. Next day, Chandan Singh again sa w dream. In dream he saw a cow. The cow was fetching milk for him. From that day, Chandan Singh became prosperous and spent his life happily.

              A Garhwali cultural expert Dr. Shiva Nand Nautiyal states that wind musical instrument Bhankora is played by only upper caste Garhwalis. Bhankora is played in Naubat, Dhunyal, Dev Jatra types of religious ritual performances. Bhankora is made by copper and its length is about 36 inches and three inch in diameter. Bhankora creates sweet melodious sound and tone.

                     खंडूड़ी जी ! हड़क सिंग जी !  गंगा जी मा फाळ मारणो (आत्महत्या ) इच्छा त ह्वे इ होलि   ?

                                  हंसोड्या , चुनगेर ,चबोड़्या -चखन्यौर्या -भीष्म कुकरेती

अब त गढवाळम चुनाव खत्म ह्वे गेन तो हमर नेता मे जनरल खंडूड़ी अर हड़क सिंग वै वै समय तैं समळणा होला जब चुनाव बगत पर दुयुं तैं आत्म हत्या करणो ज्यू बुले होलु।

मेजर जनरल (रि ) खंडूड़ी ! जरा बतावो त सै ये चुनाव (2014 , लोकसभा ) बगत कति दै आपक आत्महत्या करणै इच्छा ह्वे ?
हड़क सिंग जी मि तैं पूरा विश्वास च कि आप तैं बि भौत दै फांस खाणो ज्यू बुले होलु।  सिंग जी ! इन त बतावो कि कथगा दैं आत्महत्या करणो ज्यु बुल्याइ ?
हे पाठक आप ही बतावो कि दुयुं तैं 2014 का लोकसभा चुनाव लड़द दैं  फांस खाण , गंगा जी मा फाळ मारनो इच्छा तो अवश्य ही होइ होलि कि ना ?
क्या जब जनरल खंडूड़ीन दिन भर पहाड़ों से पलायन समस्या पर बेवकूफ , मुर्ख बणाणो भाषण दे होलु अर रात मा यखुली ह्वेक आत्मचिंतन करी होलु कि उत्तराखंड बणनो बाद द्वी तीन दै भाजपा  सरकार छे अर भाजपा पौड़ी गढ़वाल क्षेत्र  पलायन समस्या पर क्वी ठोस नीति नि बणै साक तो अवश्य ही बिपिन चन्द्र खंडूड़ी तेन पंखा पर लटकीक आत्महत्या करणो इच्छा नि ह्वे होलि ?
जब हड़क सिंग जी चुनाव मा दिन भर जनता तैं मुर्ख बणाण वाळ अस्वासन दे देक थकी गे  होला तो एकांत का क्षणों मा हड़क सिंग जीन स्व-विश्लेषण करी हॉल कि उत्तराखंड मा वो बि कॉंग्रेसी सरकार मा मंत्री रयां छन अर ग्रामीण क्षेत्र की जनसंख्या दिनों दिन कम होणी च तो अवश्य ही हड़क सिंग जी तैं चुल्लू भर पाणी मा डूबिक सुसाइड करणो ज्यु बुले होलु कि ना ?
जब दुयुंन आत्मचिंतन से पै होलु कि उंकी सरकारन पहाड़ समस्या का एक बि समाधान नि दे तो अवश्य ही दुयुं तैं डाळ पर ज्यूड लगैक फांस खाणो ज्यु त जरूर ह्वे होलु कि ना ?
जब खंडूड़ी जी अर हड़क सिंग जीन इखुल्या -यखुली सोची होल कि उत्तराखंड की पहाड़ी जनता तैं उत्तराखंड बणनो बाद बि रोजगार का वास्ता मैदानों तरफ भागण पोड़द तो आत्म ग्लानि मा दुयुं तै पहाड़ की चोटी से कुद्दी मारिक अपण जीवन  खतम करणो इच्छा बलवती ह्वे होलि कि ना ?
जब हड़क सिंग जी अर खंडूड़ी जीन ख़याल कौर होलु कि हमर दुयुंक पार्टीन जनता का सपना का चकनाचूर कार तो दुयुं तैं कै बड़ो ढुंग पर कपाळ फोड़िक मरणो इच्छा तो होइ होलि कि ना ?
जब दुयुं विचार करि होलु कि पहाड़ो मा अब शिक्षा को मतलब कुछ रै इ नि गे तो क्या दुयुं तै अफु तै अफिक खड्यारणो ज्यु नि बुले होलु ?
जब दुयुंन चुनावी भ्रमण मा पै होलु कि पहाड़ों मा कृषि भूमि मा फसल की जगा लैन्टीना (कुर्री ) अर मळसु जाम्युं च तो अवश्य ही दुयुं तैं अपण नस काटिक खुदकशी करणो ज्यू  बुले होलु कि  ना ?
उत्तराखंड आंदोलन मा सुचे गे छौ कि पहाड़ो मा बागवानी उद्यम फलल -फूलल अर जब पिछ्ला चौदा सालुं मा कुछ नि ह्वे तो आत्मग्लानि मा हड़क सिंग अर खंडूड़ी कु अफु पर अफिक आग लगैक अपणि इहलीला समाप्त करणो ज्यु नि बुले होलु ?
जब दुयुंन आत्म विशलेषण करी होलु अर देखि होलु कि ना तो कॉंग्रेस अर ना ही भाजपा सरकारुंन उत्तराखंड तै पर्यटन उद्यम का वास्ता क्वी नया कारगर विकल्प दे तो अवश्य ही हड़क सिंग अर खंडूड़ी द्वी खुदकशी का वास्ता मूस मारणो जहर ढूंढणो इना ऊना भटकी होला कि ना ?
इनि कथगा ही क्षण ऐ होला जब हड़क सिंग अर खंडूड़ी अपणी नाकामयाबी से हताश ह्वेक आत्म हत्या जन पाप करणो तयार ह्वे होला।
मेरी उत्तराखंड राज्य से गुजारिस च कि खंडूड़ी अर हड़क सिंग का चौतरफा , चौबीस घंटा चौकीदार लगै दिए जावन जाँसे यी द्वी आत्मचिंतन का बाद खुदकशी , आत्महत्या या सुसाइड नि करी द्यावन किलैकि नेता  जनता तै त बेवकूफ बणै सकुद पर अपणी आत्मा तै मूर्ख नि बणै सकुद।

History Review of North India in Garhwal King Sahajpal and his Heirs Period

At the initial eight years of Shahajpal rule in Garhwal, there was Sher Shah Suri dynasty rule in Delhi.  Islam Shah the capable son of Sher Shah expired in 1553.
Muhammad Shah Badali ruled till 1557. Humayun captured Delhi just before the death of Abdali. The heirs and succssors of Sher Shah had fierce infighting among themselves.
At this time whole of North India suffered many adverseries as drought, loss in agro produces etc. There were social disturbances too. There was crucial famine too and it is said that human ate human flesh.
Humayun died on 24th January 1556. His son Akbar was a teen young of fourteen years old. Akbar did manage rule well with the help of his Guardian Bairam Khan. Akbar was wise in recognizing the talented person. He was not hard core religious Muslim ruler but was secular.

यह सर्वविदित है कि पिछले साल 2013 में मंदाकिनी घाटी में आयी आपदा ने उत्तराखंड के पर्यटन उद्योग को नकारात्मक रूप से प्रभावित किया है।  विशेष रूप से चार धाम यात्रा पर्यटन उद्यम को बड़ा धक्का लगा है।

किसी भी पर्यटन उद्यम में  नकारात्मक छवि सुधार हेतु समाज सरकार से अधिक भूमिका निभाता है।

यह प्रशसनीय व उत्साह वर्धक समाचार है कि चार धाम के पंडा समाज ने भारत के बहुत से क्षेत्रों का भ्रमण किया और यजमानो से घर घर जाकर श्रद्धालुओं को उत्तराखंड यात्रा हेतु प्रेरित किया।
आज प्रवासियों का भी कर्तव्य है कि उत्तराखंड पर्यटन वृद्धि हेतु उत्तराखंड छवि वर्धन में अपना योगदान दें।
प्रवासियों से उम्मीद है कि उत्तराखंड पर्यटन छवि वर्धन में निम्न तरह से अपना योगदान दें।

१-प्रवासी को अपने दोस्तों से चार धाम यात्रा ज्ञान देना चाहिए।
२- किसी भी प्रकार से चार धाम यात्रा  बात अपने साथी -दोस्तों से करें।
३- चार धाम व उत्तराखंड पर्यटन के पैम्फलेट मंगाकर उन्हें अपने दोस्तों में बाँटें।
४-किसी भी प्रकार का संशय खत्म करें .
५-ईमेल या इंटरनेट के जरिये अपने साथियों पहचान वालों को चार धाम यात्रा हेतु प्रेरित करें।
६- इंटरनेट व  फेसबुक व अन्य सोसल मीडिया में चार धाम यात्रा पर विचार विमर्श करवाएं
७-चार धाम यात्रा का ट्वीट या फेसबुक पेज भी खोला जा सकता है।
८- जो लेखक है वे गैर उत्तराखंडी पत्र -पत्रिकाओं में चार धाम संबंधी लेख प्रकाशित करें।
९-वे सभी कदम उठायें जो पर्यटक स्थल छवि वर्धन में कारगर होते हैं।
१०-स्वयं भी उत्तराखंड यात्रा करें
११-यथास्थिति की  जानकारी लोगों तक पंहुचाएं।

                  गढ़वाली लोक नाटकों के वाद्य यंत्र

  Mochang is wind percussion. Mochang   could be categorized lamellophone.  Mochang is made by iron or metal ring in the shape of horse shoe shape with two parallel forks which figure the frame and a metal tongue in middle between the forks fixed at one end and vibrates at other end. The metal tongue is bent at the free end in a plain perpendicular to the circular that the plate is struck and made to vibrate too.
               Mochang is placed in between teeth, held by one hand and is struck by other hand and lip-teeth sound. The movement of tongue, vibration of throat and sucking-blowing air create desired sound.  Women singers and shepherd play this musical instrument.

साकेत बहुगुणा -काश कॉंग्रेस इलाहाबाद से जीति सकदी तो मी बि इलाहबाद से चुनाव लड़दु।
माला राज्य लक्ष्मी शाह -देख ना ! एक चुनाव सभा मा जनता मि तैं पुछणी कि महारानी जी ! टिहरी मा शिक्षा का कुहाल छन।
साकेत बहुगुणा -हाँ मि तै बि ताना दीणा छा कि बुबाजीन शिक्षा मा सुधार का वास्ता क्या कार ?

माला राज्य लक्ष्मी शाह -हाँ ! अर पता च एक जगा त लोग बुलण बैठि गेन कि गूणी -बंदरों बजै से खेती नि हूणी च।
साकेत बहुगुणा -हाँ खेती करणै जरुरत ही क्या च ? अरे बजाराम इथगा बढ़िया क्वालिटिक बासमती मिलदी , पंजाब -हरयाणा क ग्युं मिल्दन तो बजार बिटेन अनाज खरीदी करद मोणी (गला ) टूटि गे यूं टिहरी वाळुक ? हम बि त बजार बिटेन अनाज खरीदंदा कि ना ?
माला राज्य लक्ष्मी शाह- अर अब त ऑलिव ऑइल बि बजार मा उपलब्ध च , बिस्किट छन, ब्रेड छन , क्या नि मिलदु बजार मा ? बजार जावन अर जु चयाणु च खरीद करिक ले आवन।
साकेत बहुगुणा -हद त तब ह्वाइ जब एक जगा लोग सिंचाई वास्ता पाणि की मांग करण बैठि गेन।
माला राज्य लक्ष्मी शाह -यूं वोटरूं शरम ल्याज बि हर्चि गे अरे उख दिल्ली मा लोगुं तै पीणो पाणि नि मिलदो अर यूं तैं टिहरी -उत्तरकाशी मा कुल्याणो पाणि चयाणु च।
साकेत बहुगुणा -हद ह्वे गे हद।  पता च कुछ धुर्या मांग करणा छा कि गढ़वाली भाषा बचाणो कुछ कारो।
माला राज्य लक्ष्मी शाह -हाँ ! जब हिंदी या अंग्रेजी से काम चल जांद तो तीसरी भाषा की क्या आवश्यकता ?
साकेत बहुगुणा -बड़ा ऐन गढ़वाली भाषा बचाण वाळ।  अरे सरकार उर्दू पर खर्चा  कारली कि बेकार की गढ़वाली भाषा पर ?
माला राज्य लक्ष्मी शाह -वी त मी बि बुलद कि आज संस्कृत बचाणो आंदोलन हूण चयेंद तो यी बेकार का लोग गढ़वाली भाषा की बात करदन।  हम दुयुं तैं गढ़वाली नि आदि तो क्या हमर  टट्टी -पिसाब नि खुलद क्या ?

माला राज्य लक्ष्मी शाह- बेवकूफ लोग ! अरे गढ़वाल से लोग भैर नि जाला तो भारत मा भंडमंजों अर रसोईयों कमी नि पोड़ि जाली ?
साकेत बहुगुणा -वी त मी बि बुंलद। पता च कुछ लोग बुलणा छा कि सरकारी अस्पतालुं  मा दवै बि नि छन अर डाक्टर बि नि छन।

साकेत बहुगुणा -हाँ बीमारी इलाज का वास्ता देहरादून मा , दिल्ली मा नामी डाक्टर छन , प्राइवेट नर्सिंग होम छन।  ऊख जैक इलाज नि करै सकदन इ लोग ?

History of Amicable Relation of Garhwal King Sahajpal with Mogul Emperor Akbar

            Garhwal Kingdom was extended till east of Ganges plains of Haridwar, Chandighat, Nazibabad, Bijnor, Afjalgarh. Akbar rule was over Haridwar especially today's Western Haridwar district and Saharanpur. Akbar had rule over Bhabar of Kumaon too. Akbar used to call Ganga water from Haridwar. Akbar used to take Ganga water on daily basis as Akbar was fussy about drinking water. He had stationed servants at Haridwar to send Ganga water in sealed barrel.
In the time of Akbar, Haridwar was famous as also sated by Abul Fazal 'Maya vulgo Haridwar on the Ganges".
Akbar used Basmati rice of Dehradun too.
             Though, Akbar also won Tibet and logic suggests that Akbar could have won Garhwal too. However, the writings of Akbar period witness that Shrinagar Garhwal was a sovereign Kingdom at the time of Akbar.  Garhwal King did not pay any tax or tribute to Akbar as subordinate ruler of Akbar. Rupchand of Kumaon had to accept overriding rule of Akbar.
       Folklore suggests that Garhwal was under Akbar and the Garhwal King told a proverb that Garhwal is as the back of camel and Akbar did not levy any tax on Garhwal. However, there is no historical evidence that Garhwal was under Akbar.
  The evidences suggest that Garhwal King Sahajpal had cordial relation with Akbar.
