ब्व़े कि  बोलि  ही छ दुधबोलि  हमारी
दुधबोली ही मातृभासा हमारी,
गढ़वाली  दुधबोली अर ब्व़े की बोली
ई  मातृभासा - पछ्याण हमारी .

           The write up is about cautioning Garhwalis that one day, Garhwali may be an endangered language if certain steps are not taken by them and government should help to promote Garhwali language that is one of the oldest Indian languages.
In this satirical write up (in the form of dialogues) 'Gadhwali ma Vasiyat'(Garh Aina, 21/4/1990), Kukreti lambasts Garhwalis, society, government and language policy by government agencies for ignoring the importance of one of the oldest Indian languages Garhwali. Kukreti pointed out that the prosperous Garhwalis feel insult I or do not have any affection for their language.
  Kukreti also drew a cartoon to support his satire 'Gadhwali ma Vasiyat'. The dialogues between two persons are as   
-काका ! गढवळि लोग गढवळि म वसीयत किलै नि लिखदन?
- ब्यटा धिन्ग्वा! जु गढवळि म वसीयत लेखी सकदन ऊं मा कुछ नी च । जु वसीयत लिखण लैक छन वूं तै गढवळि से कवी प्रेम नी च .

Hilans is also the history of Uttarakhand movement. Each issue of Hilans speaks the steps in Uttarakhand movement.
In the August, 1985 issue of Hilans, Editor Arjun Singh Gusain discussed about aspirations of Indian people. Arjun Singh Gusain requested Rajiv Gandhi the prime minister of India to provide autonomous freedom for Uttarakhand and develop the area as Himachal Pradesh.

Chungni is humorous poem by Netra Singh Aswal portraying specific literature quality of Garhwali creative of Delhi

Dunayki Dhryol is a fine Kumauni poem by Mathura Datt Mathpal.
Abhinandan part is Garhwali satirical prose by Puran Pant Pathik.
Sacchu prem is a Garhwali satirical poem by Lalit Keshwan

                      Pundit Vidya Sagar (Dhad, October 1990) by Jay Prakash Bamola is a humorous and inspirational story. Pundit Vidya Sagar was expert in orating religious rituals but was did not know reading. Pundit ji used to give ritual book some body for reading and Vidya Sagar used to orate the rituals himself. One day, by mistake, the ritual book was replaced with  a children book and there became a confusion and chaos at the time of marriage ritual. Vidya Sagar takes vow for learning.
              The style is humorous. The small story has speedy flow. The story writer did not get time in characterization or emotion depiction. Bamola used Hindi phrases commonly.

                 There are structural inequalities. There are structural inequalities in education facilities. There are structural inequalities in agricultural facilities. There are regional structural inequalities for various facilities. There are structural inequalities in provision for employment. There are structural inequalities in health care faculties by government. There are structural inequalities in transport faculties by government.
  The great personality of Uttarakhand Parashar Gaur criticizes the government that there is unemployment, no agricultural modernization, no road in villages but government is boosting for development by building airport. Parashar criticizes in small satirical prose the structural inequalities. Parashar is successful in showing the different attitude by government for riches and poor.

गरीबी कैकि बेटी च ?

व्यंग्य- पूरण पन्त पथिक

एक दिन /एक बुडड़ी  मिल्ये चौबाटा  मां/  वींल बोले -नमस्ते . मिन बोले -तुम  को छयां? वीन बोले - बेटा ,मि  गरीबी  छौं.मिन  बोले -यख क्या कन्ना छां तुम?वीन बोले -बेटा, नयों राज्य छ ,द्यख्दौं कब तैं यख रै सकदो. मिन बोले -नयाँ राज्यौ मतलब इ ई छ कि  ज्वी-क्व़ी यखौ नौं बदनाम करीं? वीन बोले- मी यख की ही छौं .मिन बोले -उत्तराखंड मां इन  गरीबी कबि  बि  नी राये,जनि तू ब्वनी-बताणी छयी .वीन बोले- मी चुनाव की असुण्या राजनीति कि धर्म बेटी छौं  , कुटिल, स्वार्थी   राजनीति क पळि पुसिं बेटी छौं.

            There are many tragic stories about widow and her struggle all over world. There are heartrending stories about a widow in Sanskrit literature. There are tragic, sad stories about widow in all the Indian languages. There are sad tragic tales in modern Garhwali literature about the struggle of widows. Mary Swell wrote stories about struggle of widow.  For example, Barbara Hofland wrote story on widow. Guy de Maupassant provides tragic story of widow. Mussaraf Ali Faruqi wrote a fine novel on a Pakistani widow.
           Gani (Dhad, October, 1990) is a Garhwali story by Mahendra Singh Rawat in Garhwali about Chaita becomes widow on the marriage day. Her husband was not present at marriage procession as it was 'Takaun-Byau" , her so called husband died in city.  Now she is widow and community blames for her husband's death that dies far away from village. Chaita is already an orphan and now she has to suffer the blames of society.
              The story has flaw of unfocused characterization of Chaita and a couple of unwanted events. However, due to unique subject and simple narrative style, the story is effective

असल्यात

(म्यार मनण च बल गढ़वळि व्यंग्य (चबो ड्या ) कविता मा द्वी धारा छन एक धारा  च डंडरियाळ वादी याने  जिकुडेळि  अर हैंक च बहुगुणावादी याने दिम्ग्या . डंडरियाळ वादी या जिकुडेळि चखन्योर्या कविता जिकुड़ी  या हृदय से निकळदन  जब कि दिम्ग्या या बहुगुणा वादी मा बुद्धि क आसरा जादा हूंद. बहुगुणावादी याने दिम्ग्या कवियुं मा कवि वौद्धिक  स्तर पर कवितौं तै लिजाण चाँद अर यां से कविता आम जनता से थ्वडा दूर बि ह्वाऊ त कवि फिर बि खुश च. पूरण पंत जी बि बौद्धिक व्यंग कवि च  अर कविता जन्माण मा बुद्धि तै जादा महत्व दींद. अर याँ से पंत की कवितौं तै समझणो बान बंचनेर  तै एक ख़ास बौद्धिक मानसिकता क स्तर पर जाण जरूरी च. अलंकारों से सजीं तौळै  कविता म्यार गढ़वळि व्यंग्यात्मक कवितौं भेद कु सबूत  च. -भीष्म कुकरेती]

हमारा घार ऐल्या दगडम  हम कुणि क्या  ल्हैल्या जी
तुम्हारा घार  औंला तब तुम हम सणि  क्या देल्या जी .
                             
अपनों तमखू -साफी दगडम  अग्यल  पट्टा   लौंला जी
   एक अद्धा ठर्रा खीसाउन्द तुमारा उबरम  प्योंला जी .

   छुयुंक   की  कचबोळि बणौला  चटणी होलि हैकै निंदा कि जी

    ठुंगार कैतैं नंगी करला हम्वी सच्चा बन्दा जी

       लगढ़या हम छां दगड्या   वैका भूढ़ा-पकोढ़ा-स्वाळा  जी
    जो न हमसणि  सेवा लगालो वेका बल्द ख्वाला जी .

    हमारी भैंसी पक्वाडी हग्दन तुमारी भैंसी मोळ  जी
  जब तक  हम वित्वळदा  माछ  तब तक  तुम लगावा झौळ  जी .

- ये भै तीन अबि तलक ब्रेकिंग न्यूज नि भेजि  ?

- सर ! कनि भेजि . परदेस मा ए साल बम्फर खरीफ फसल की  उम्मेद

- ये उत्कू घस्सा कैन धार त्वे तै म्यार चैनेल मा? मी क्वी तुमारो परदेस कु मुख्यमंत्री छौं  जु   यीं निरसी खबर प्रसारित करलु 

-पण सर, इख परदेस मा  त लोग बाग खुश छन भौत सालू मा खरीफ कि बम्फर फसल हूणि च.
