मेरि बात सूणा मि,दुखियारी नारी.
रूणों छौं मि अजकाल,दिनरात भारी.

पति ह्वैगे मेरो आज,जुवारी शराबी.
कसि कैकि होलि अब,दूर या खराबी

रूंदा दिन कटदू,मि निरभगी आज.
कनु ऐ गैनी आज,यु रागस राज.

पतिजिन मेरा रोज,सुबेर चलि जाण.
लटगिंदा-फरकिंदा,पछि घौर आण.

गाळी-ढाळी तौंकी मिन,रोज सुणोंण.
नौनि-नौनों तै बि, रोज भारी डरौण. 

दलकणि मारि-मारि,तौन खाणु खाण.
नौन्यालोंन डैरिकी, भुखी सेई जाण.

छैंदो साग कबी,भुयां मा ठुप्याण.
दाळी की कटोरी,मी उंदा चुटाण.

इस्कोल्या नौनों की,फीस नि दियीन्दा.
टैम पर लैरी-लत्ती,भली नि करिन्दा.

रूणों रैन्द मन मेरो,यी हाल देखिकी.
मनाणु रैन्दू  मि रोज,हाथ जोड़ीकी.

कब मेरा पति तुम,होश मा ऐला.
कब ईं बुराई से,छुटकारा पैला.

उत्तराखंड राज्य कि नाकामी  पर भंयकर निराशा की कविता
                         भीष्म कुकरेती
  निराशा  एक भयंकर  अर नकारात्मक भाव च जु असला मा विरोध पैदा करदू. निराशा गुसा, रोष, क्रोध से सम्बन्धित भाव च अर यू तब होंद जब कै ण कवी सुपिन देखी ह्वाओ या सोची ह्वाओ अर यि सुपिन या सुच ण सही साबित ह्व़े सकद छ्या पण जब कवी बदजात कार णो से यि सुपिन या सोच पूरा नि ह्वावान त रोष आन्द , निराशा आन्द.
   उत्ताराखं द्यूं ण उत्तराखंड कि मांग एक सजीव उत्तराखंड राजू क बान शुरू करी छौ अर त्याग करी छौ कि जब हम तै अपण राज मिलल त हम अपण हिसाब से विकास करला पण इन नि ह्वाई .
आज साख्यिकी  गवाह च कि उत्तराखंड बणणो परांत पलायन मा बढ़ोतरी ह्व़े. युवाओं तै रोजगार नि मील. मुख्यमंत्री कि कुर्सी पैल पैल एक गैर उत्तराखंडी तै दिए गे, एक मुख्यमंत्री त इन बौण जु उत्तराखंड राज्य कु विरोधी छौ . जु मुख्यमंत्री  कुछ करण चाणो छौ वै तै भगाणो बान   राजनैतिक पैंतराबाजी चौल अर आज कु मुख्यमंत्री नामौ उत्तराखंडी च. वैमा ना त उत्तराखंडी सांस्कृतिक धरोहर च ना वै तै पहाड़ कु  क्वी ज्ञान च
  फिर आज चीमा सरीखा लोग प्रश्न उठाणा छन कि उधम सिंह नगर मा पहाड़ियों से बबाल होणु च . मदन कौशिक कि धान्धलेबाजि सब्यून देखी कि कन गढ़वाली अर कुमाउनी भाषा तै पैथर धके ल़े ग्याई . आज इन लगणु च जन बुल्यां हम इ गैर उत्तराखंडी ह्व़े गेवां धौं !
इन मा गढ़वाली भाषा कि अति सवेंदन शील कवित्री बीना बेंजवाल इन कविता ल्याखली त खौंळ्याणै बात नी च
कवित्री ण अलंकृत भाषा मा जनता मा निराशा किलै च की पूरी व्यख्या कम शब्दों मा कार .

अपणा राज मिलण पर
जंदर्यों का बांठा नाज
ह्वेगी मूसों  का हवाला
बाड़ी खैंडण ड्वीला 
मजा मा चटणा बिराळा
बिसरी ज्ञान चुल्ला मा धरीं
अपण परथों की बार I 
अजा ण हाथों मा पोड़ीगे
हमारू घर बार इ I
बौल्या भुर्त्या बण्या हम 
नवाद कुर्सी ह्वेगे गुसैण
मासांत  तैं पुछ्ड़ी रैगि हमारि मकरैण
बगत तैं बि नी च बगत
नेतौं कु चलणु कारोबार I
पढया लिख्यां  खाणा ठोकरी
नौकरी जख होली सुनिंद पवड़ी
रोजगारै   स्यां लम्बी रेल
सैणै  फुंड छन अबि दनकणि
निरस्येगे प्राण
कुज्यणि कैपर लगली असगार

Let Us Celebrate Hundredth Year of Modern Garhwali   Stories!
                        Bhishma Kukreti 
                        Satyendr Sajwan wrote a story about sacrifices by mother (Bugyal, 1995). The story is told in flashback and travels with mother's deeds for nursing her male child. She works as laborer to look after her child. The story is just description. There is struggle of a mother but story writer fails in showing the inner conflict of such mother.

   सि परसि धर्मा भै कु फोन गा बिटेन ऐ," भीष्म ! भै ब्व़े गुजरी गे. "
"ओ धर्मा दा !  तेरी त ब्व़े छे पण मेकुण बोडि साक्षात वृहस्पति छे. बोडि न मै क्या नि सिखाई." मीन पशत्यौ मा ब्वाल.
" हाँ ओ त ठीक च पण अब बड़ी समस्या मड्वेउंक च . इख बिटेन फूलचट्टी  जाणो मीन जीपुं इंतजाम त करी आलीन पण अब मुडै चयाणा छन " धर्मा दा न अपणि तकलीफ बताई. अर सै बि च मुडै नि ह्वावन त गंगा-हिंवल संगम कु क्या माने .
मीन ब्वाल," ह्यां पण स्यू नारायण सिग काका च .बड़ो कामगति च "
धर्मा दा न बोली," हाँ छ त छें च पण ह्वाई क्या च पोरुक साल वैको नौनो नौउम फेल हूणो छौ अर मास्टर मेरो साडो भै ह्वाई. नारेण का न मीमा बि बोली. पण सडु  भाई बुलण बिस्याई बगैर पैसा क वैन अपण भाई बि पास नि करण. नारायण का तै पैसा दीण पोड़ीन अर तब बिटेन नारायण काका मि फर  नराज च . "
मीन ब्वाल," कुछ बि कौरिक नारायण का तै पटाओ ."
धर्मा दा न बोली," अच्छा त इन कौर नारायण काका कुण फोन कौर कि घाट पर जाण  जरूरी च अर वांको पूरो इंतजाम च. सौब इंतजाम च बुलण नि बिसरी हाँ "
मीन नारायण काका कुण फोन कार कि घाट  पर जाण जरूरी च अर सौब इंतजाम च.
थ्वड़ा देर  मा धर्मा दा क फोन आई बल नारायण काका त ऐ ग्याई अर बुलण  मिस्याई . ," भीष्म ! तू इन कौर बलिराम दादा कुण फोन कौर अर बोल घाट पर जाण जरूरी च अर सौब इंतजाम च."
"पण बलिराम दा त अपण मुंडितौ च . मड़घट मा उ नि आलो त फिर कु आलो ?" मीन पूछ
धर्मा दान बताई,"  अरे भै पोरुक साल में से एक सुंगुर मोरी ग्याई. पट्वरि जि म्यार  कक्या ससुरौ स्याळ छन त डौर कुछ नि छे पण भुलमरां  मा बलिराम दा तै शिकार दीण बिसरी ग्यों अर ऊ बि नराज च . तु इन कौर  बलिराम दा कुण फोन कौर अर बोल कि सौब इंतजाम च."
मीन फटाफट बलिराम दा कुण फोन कौर कि घाट पर जाण जरूरी च अर सौब इंतजाम च
थ्वड़ा देर  मा धर्मा दा क फोन आई बल," बलिराम दा त पौंची ग्याई. अब तु प्रेम सिंग तै फोन कौर अर जोर देक बोल कि सौब इंतजाम च "
मीन ब्वाल," ह्यां पण ! प्रेम सिंग त त्यार गोर माँगक यार च फिर ?"
धर्मा दा ण समजाई," उ क्या च पोर प्रेम सिंग तै बेटिक ब्यौव कुण रूप्या चयाणा छया वैन  एक हौज क नाम पर सरकारी लोन ल्याई अर मेकुण ब्वाल कि गवाह बौण. अब हौज त बौणि नि छौ अर ना ही बणण छौ त मि डौरि ग्यों अर मि गवाह नि बौण त प्रेम सिंग नराज चल णु च."
मीन ब्वाल," ठीक च मि प्रेम सिंग तै फोन पर समजांदु  कि घाट पर जाण जरूरी च ."
इथगा मा धर्मा दान ब्वाल," अर सौब इंतजाम च बुलण जरूरी च"
मि पुछण वाळ छौ कि यू सौब इंतजाम कु मतबल क्या च पण धर्मा दान फोन काटी दे
फिर धर्मा दाक फोन आई बल प्रेम सिंग बि पौंछि गे . फिर धर्मा दान पांच हौर गाँ वळु कुण फोन करणो ब्वाल अर सब मा एकी हिदायत  छे कि सौब इंतजाम छें च 
मीन इख मुंबई बिटेन गाँ मा पांछ छै आदिमुं   कुण फोन कार अर ब्वाल कि सौब इंतजाम छें  च  सौब धर्मा दा क इख पौंछि गेन
कुछ देर परांत  धर्मा दा  फोन पर ब्वाल  कि अब वो लोग जीप से गंगा- हिंवल को संगम फूल चट्टी जाणा छन त फोन श्याम  दै इ ह्वाल .
मि तै यू जाणणै उचमिची लगीं छे कि सौब इंतजाम छें च को मतबल क्या च .
मीन दुफरा परांत  धर्मा दा फोन करि दे . धर्मा दान बताई कि दाह संस्कार वगैरा  सौब अछि तरां से ह्व़े ग्याई अर अब सौब ढाबा मा बैठिक खाणा पीणा छन .
मीन पूछ कि भै यू सौब इंतजाम कु मतबल क्या छौ त धर्मा दान फोन नारायण काका क हथ  मा पकडै द्याई .
नारायण काका क अवाज लड़खड़ाणि छे , "क्या रै भीष्म ! सौब इंतजाम कु मतबल नि जाणदि ?"
मीन ब्वाल," नै काका ."
नारायण काका शराब कु झांझ  छौ," इख गाँ मा सौब इंतजाम कु मतबल हूंद मुर्दा फुकेणो बाद शराब अर शिकार कु पूरो इंतजाम रालों "
मीन ब्वाल,' यि क्या! गाँ मा क्या खज्यात ऐ ग्याई बल मुर्दा फुकणो बाद मुडै दारु प्यावन अर शिकार खावन .पाप पुण्य  बि क्वी चीज हूंद."
नारायण काकान शराब क झांझ मा ब्वाल," गूणि  अपण पूच त दिखुद नी च अर बांदरौ कुणि ब्वाद बल तैको  पूच लम्बो च"
मीन ब्वाल," पण काका.."
नारायण काका न ब्वाल," क्या रै भीष्म ! परार मि जब मुंबई अयूँ  छौ त तैबारी बिसनु  काक मोरी गे अर फिर मुंबई मा हम गाँ वळ अर इलाका वळ विसनु  काका क दाह संस्कार मा गे छ्या. अर फिर मुर्दा फुकणो बाद त्वी इ हम चार लोगूँ तै एक होटल मा ल़ी गे छौ , बगैर नययाँ हमुन छ्कैक दारु पे, मट्टन खायी, मुर्गी खायी. वाह भै शहर वळा ! तुम कै क्वी  काम कारो त वो  पुण्य  अर वेई काम हम गाँ वळा कौराँ  त पाप?"
अब मीमा बुलण लैक कुछ नि छौ.

तनि दिखेण मा
भोगणा मा 
दुन्य की गैळी
कर्दिन हैरी
यख बिटि
फुटीं 
छोया गदेरी
पण अफु
रैगैनी
निरपट सूखा
बीरान
यु पहाड़
ये पहाड़ मा
मुश्किल जिंदगी
पहाड़ जनि.

ऊबड़-खाबड़ धरती
उकाळ-उंदार
पैदल बाटों मा
खुटों मा
बिनांदा कांडा
पिडांदा
गारा-ढुंगा     
सीढ़ी जना
छवटा-छवटा 
डुंडा-बिंगड़ा
रूखा-सूखा पुंगडा मा
घर्या बल्द अर
हल्य़ा ब्वाडा
दगड़ मा डळफ़ोडा   
घुसणा रंदीन
अपणा सुक्याँ हड्गा
बगत कु बगत
बरखण वल़ा बादळ

            In poetry field Kanhaiya Lal dandriyal, Lalit Keshwan, Abodh Bandhu Bahuguna, Netra Singh Aswal, Puran Pant Pathik, Narendra Singh Negi, Harish Juyal, Jai Pal Rawat, Chhilbat are famous verse satirists.

  In cartoon genre, B. Mohan Negi, Bhishma Kukreti and Nand Kishor Hatwal are famous satirist.
  In standing comedy, Ghanna Bhai is famous satirist and humorist in Garhwali language.

    Lalit Keshwan the famous Garhwali poet and playwright Lalit Keshwan wrote five stories in Garhwali. 
         'Roop Singh Master ar Bhoot' (Hilans) is a ghost story based on real incident happened in the area of Keshwan in Garhwal.   Ghost killed Master Roop sing in sleep.  There is adventure in the story but lacks the dramatization. This writer wanted to know from Keshwan about less drama in the story. Lalit Keshwan explained that he wanted to write story as he perceived.

  वैदिन रैजा का याने राजेन्द्र चचा जीक फोन आई," बल ये भीष्म ! तु बड़ो असुण्या  ह्व़े गे रे.मुंबई मा रैक बि तीन हम तैं विलेज रिफौर्म क बाराम  नि बताई.

मीन ब्वाल," काका मै तै शहरी सुधार  जाणदो पण ग्रामीण आर्थिक सुधार क बाराम कुछ नि जाणदु ."

काका न बोलि," हाँ अब तुम उन्ना देसी जी ह्व़े गेवां ."

मीन बोलि," नै काका तन बात नी च .."

काकान बोलि," अच्छा रौणि दे. उ त भलु ह्व़े कि हमर गाँ मा हमारो विधायक कु भणजु को एक उद्योगपति  दगड्या आई अर वैन बताई कि ग्रामीण सुधार से गौंक बड़ो भलो होलु. तब जैक हमारी समज मा आइ कि हम अन्ध्यर मा छ्या."

मीन हुंगारी  पूज," बढिया बात च ."

काकन ब्वाल," अर हमन  अपण सौब संजैत जंगळ वै उद्योगपति तै बेचीं देन ."

' मीन पूछ," क्या?"

" हाँ भै हाँ हमन सौब संजैत जंगळ बेचीं देन अर वै पैसान हमन एक बड़ो क्रिक्यट स्टेडियम बणै द्याई.बच्चों तै क्रिक्यट खिलणम  बड़ी परेशानी हुणि छे." काकान समजाई

कुछ दिन  बाद फिर से रैजा काक फोन आई," अरे भीसम अब हमन ग्रामीण सुधार नीति क तहत अपुण सौब , गदन , रगड़-बगड़ अर जथगा बि पाणि क स्रोत्र छया सौब बेचीं ऐन"

मीन पूछ," क्या ?"

काकाक जबाब छौ," हाँ वु यार गाँ मा एक रिक्रियेसन  क्लब कि भारी जरूरत छे त वांक बान हमन सौब पाणि अर गाड गदन एक हैंको बड़ो उद्योगपति तै बेचीं देन . अब सरा गांवक लोक तुम शहरी लोगुं तरां एक दगड़ी बैठिक मजा से शराब कि चुस्की ल़े सकदन या ताश खेली सकदन "

कुछ दिन बाद काकाक फिर फोन आई," यार भीष्म ! ओ क्रिक्यट क्लब क देख रेख क बान पैसा कि जरूरत छे त हम अपण गांवक ज्वा बि संजैत जमीन छे वा जमीन एक बहुराष्ट्रीय विदेसी उद्योगपति मा बेचीं दे. अब हम तै दस साल तलक क्रिक्यट क्लब क देख रेख क बान पैसों जरुरत इ नि पोड़लि "

कुछ दिन बाद फिर काकाक फोन आई," वु रिक्रेसियन क्लबो देख रेख क बान पैसों जरूरत छे त हमर अपण सौब संजैत बाटो एक हैंकि विदेसी कम्पनी तै बेचीं दे. "

कुछ दिन बाद काकाक फोन आई," ये भीष्म ! अरे मुंबई मा जरा हम बीस पचीस लोगुं कुणि नौकरी खुज्या भै !"

मीन ब्वाल," पण काका वो ग्रामीण आर्थिक सुधार से त तुम तै उखी रौण चएंद छौ."

काकाक न बथाई," अरे हमारि  जमीन, जंगळ , पाणी अर हवा पर यूँ उद्योगपतियुं को कब्जा ह्व़े ग्याई अर यि अब हमर  उठण, बैठण, चलण, लखड़ लाण ,  पाणी पीण  इक तलक कि साँस लीण पर बि टोल टैक्स लगाणा छन . अब हमर गाँ हमर नी च यि त योंको  इ ह्व़े ग्याई "

मीन सल्ला दे," त यूँ उद्योग  पतियुं क इख इ नौकरी कौरी ल्याओ "

" अरे हमन बि यूँ उद्योगपतियों कुण यि ब्वाल. पता च सब्यूँन क्या ब्वाल. ?"

"क्या?" मीन पूछ

" यि उद्योग पति बुलण लगिन बल जै  कौम तै अपण संसाधन कु  सही ढंग से इस्तेमाल करण नि आओ त वा कौम  नौकरी लैक बि नि होंदी. " काकान खुलासा कार
