                 The great Indian satirist Puran Pant has keen observation power. Many times, it is experienced that people misunderstood the literature doctorate person as medical doctor. The great Indian satirist Pant took the cue from this experience and talks about ignorant people taking folk art research as useless and insulting acts for a well educated young man. Even the folk artists mock the educated man that does research on folk art.
             There is humor and art in this write up by great Indian satirist. The style is uncle from village posting letter to his nephew who is now doctorate in folk literature in city. The ignorance of uncle and folk artist create humor and creates satire as well.

               Om Prakash Semwal is teacher by profession and his poems, songs, dramas and his stories discuss many social subjects. There are many reasons that parents prefer sons against daughters in south Asia or East Asia. Om Prakash Semwal depicts and discusses a few reasons for preference of sons by parents in his story 'As'.
             Bhadu and Vimla are happy married couple. Vimla is happier than Bhadu that they have two sons and their Bhadu's cousins have daughters. Vimal is more happy that all properties of Bhadu's cousins would ultimately come to her sons.  Bhadu's elder son Manu takes works in village and younger son goes to Delhi and takes employment there. When both sons are married they are separated. Parents are also divded along with properties. Badu had to leave village to live with his younger son Saunu. Vimla lives with Mainu in village. However, Bhadu does not adjust with the new metro life. He returns back to village and is shocked to see very bad condition of his wife. Now Vimla talks about need of daughters.   
             Semwal is successful in raising the questions of parental utility of sons and daughters in this story. He keeps the story simple and engages readers. The dialogues are from real life and also fit to characters. Most of the characters act as if they are from real life.  Semwal leaves the question of preference for son and daughters to the readers.

             परसि म्यार गां तै मरोड़ उठि गे . खै कुछ नि छौ किलैकि परधान जी न बोलि बल मनरेगा , प्रधानमन्त्री रोजगार जन योजनाउं  रान , भट्यूड़ , भितर्वांस ,मुंडळि  त ब्लौकम इ बंटी गे छौ अर बकै बच्यां हडका , लुतकि -पुतकि सरपंचालय जोग ह्वे गे छे। हमर गांम सबसे दानि ददि न गौं हालात देखिक ब्वाल बल इन मरोड़ त ये गां तैं डेढ़ सौ साल पैल बि उठि छे त सरा गां वळा आर चलाणो भाभरौ (मैदानी ) जंगळ  जिना भाजि गे छा त गावै मरोड़ कम ह्वे छे। फिर जब हैंक दै बदहजमी ह्वे त सरा गां काळो डांड (लैंसडाउन ) गे छया अर जब फौजि बणिक ड्यार ऐ छा तब जैक या बदहजमी दूर ह्वे छा . फिर एक दै गां तै उब उन्द (उल्टी और दस्त ) लगि छौ त जब तलक गां वळ भंडमजा नि ह्वे गेन गौं उन्द उब बंद नि ह्वेन . वीं दानि ददि न बथै बल इनि जब बि गां तै भूखौ पेट पीड़ा होंदि छे त गां वाळ चपड़सि, किलार्क बणदा छा त पुटुकम सेळि पोडि जांद छे .

     अबैं दैंक गौं पीड़ा ददिक  बिंगणम नि आयि  त दिल्लि-मुंबई  बिटेन प्रवासी सल्लि (विशेषग्य ) बुलये गेन। सब्युंम बड़ी बड़ी डिगर्युं फंचि छे .

एक सल्लिन गौं नबज दयाख अर ब्वाल , " म्यार दिखण से त यु क्लासिकल अनइमप्ल्यायटौ (शास्त्रीय रोजगारौ सिद्धांत ) केस च . गाऊं मा रोजगार एक अर बेरोजगार  सौ त इन मा गां तै  बेरोजगारौ मरोड़ उठण लाजमि च ."

ददि न पूछ , " ब्यटा क्वी उपाय ? की इ पश्वा सुख्यर ह्वे जावो /"

सल्लिन बोलि ," ना मि कारण बतै सकुद निदानौ बाराम अजाण छौं "

हैंक प्रवासी सल्लिन गौं क आँख कताडि द्याख अर अपण राय दे ,"  ये गां पर मौसमि बेरोजगारि याने साइकलिकल अनइम्प्लॉयमेंटौ वायरस बि लगि गे।"

ददिन पूछ , " यो कनफणि सि बीमारि क्या च ?"

सल्लिक  जबाब छौ ," मतबल जब देसम  या विदेशम रिसेसन या आर्थिक मंदी ऐ जाओ त मौसमी बेरोजगारी बीमारी हज्या जन भंयकर रूपम सरासरी सौरद (फैलदि )."

एकान पूछ , "क्वी निदान ?"

"मि प्रवासी छौं मि कारण बथाणम उस्ताद छौं निदान बथाणम लाटो -कालों बुबा छौं ." वै सल्लिक उत्तर छौ

तिसरो प्रवासी सल्लिन गौंक पुटुक जपकाई अर कुछ किताब देखिन अर बडो उत्साहसे बथाई  " ओहो ! ये गां तै मार्क्सवादी , साम्यवादी , समाजवादी बिमारि लग गे ."

" या बिमारी बि ह्ज्या जनि च ?"ददिन  पूछ

" हां यीं दशाम रोगि -निरोगि कम काम कौरिक , पूरि मजदूरी बान लडै करणु रौंद अर क्वी ये तै उत्पादनशीलताऔ बाराम  पूछो त इन बीमार पूछण वाळौ घुंड-मुंड फोड़ी दींदो " तिसरो प्रवासी सल्लिन अपण राय दे

ददिन ब्वाल , " बेटा ! तीम बि भाषण इ होला , क्वी निदान त क्या इ होला हैं ?"

प्रवासीन गर्व से ब्वाल," हां ददी ! मी बि आम प्रवासी इ छौं जु बिमारी लक्षणो बाराम चितळ रौंद  पण निदानो मामलाम सियुं रौंद "

ददिन चौथो प्रवासी तै पूछ ," चल अब तू बि बता कि म्यार या त्य्रार गां तै क्या बिमारि च ?"

चौथो प्रवासी सल्लिन गौंक हथ-खुट जपकैन अर अपण लैपटॉपम कुछ  देखिक ब्वाल ," या क्षेत्रीय बिसमता से उपजी बेरोजगारीक बिमारी च . जन कि भौगोलिक विषमता ,  प्रादेशिक विसमता, ग्रामीण -शहरी विषमता आदि आदि "

ददिन पंचों सल्लि तै पूछ , " ये तेरी राय क्या च ? ज़रा सुणा त सै "

पंचोंन सरा सरैल द्याख अर ब्वाल ,' ये गां पर दूरगामी बेरोजगारी , कम समौ बेरोजगारी , लुक्यां बेरोजगारीक रोग बि लग्याँ छन ."



  ददिन ब्वाल , " ये प्रवासियों ! तुमन नै क्या बथाई ? या बात त म्यार ससुर जी बि जाणदा छा . क्वी माई क लाल च जु दवा बथै साको ?"

तीन चार प्रवासी ऐथर ऐन अर बुलण लगिन , "ददि हम अपण बीस पचीस भायों तै विदेस लि जाणा छंवां अर उख भांड मंजौला या होटलोंम कुछ हौर करला पण ये गां तै जरूर सुख्य्रर करि द्योल्या "

अर जनि गांवन यन सूण बल बीस पचीस जवान विदेस जाणा छन कि गां भलो चंगो ह्वेक कुतकण बिसे गे , घिलमुंडि खिलण मिसे गे . अब म्यार गां सुख्यर ह्वे ग्याई ।

                           This author has been reading news and views about the subject of Indian politicians of all parties misusing the constitutional post of Governor from the time he started reading newspaper.
  When the ex chief minister and ex central minister Beeju Parnaik stated that when his party will come in power in centre that party will abolish the post of governor. Asian satirist Kukreti ridicules the statement of Biju Patnaik as false promise by Beeju patnaik. Kukreti provides many instances about Janta Dal (where Beeju Patnaik was in high post) misusing the governor post as congress party was habitual to do so. Humorously and satirically, Asian satirist Bhishma Kukreti states that the governor post is post retirement benefits for many politicians who are loyal to their high command. In this satirical write up, Asian satirist Bhishma Kukreti also speaks about the way the ruling political part at centre uses governor for toppling opposition government in the state. Asian satirist Bhishma Kukreti counts many misuses of governor posts by selfish politicians as sidelining the rebellion party man, clearing a liability for party etc in this satirical write up.  Asian satirist Kukreti also talks about the stories on involvement of Beeju Patnaik in corruption.

Sada Nand Kukreti (1913) initiated realism in modern Garhwali fiction. Thereafter there are examples that Garhwali writers tried realism in Garhwali fiction. 
A few characteristics of realism in fiction are –
1-The realistic story must be real life mirror.
2-The realistic story deals with complex situation.
3-The good realistic fiction deals with people, problems of people and their challenges.
4-The characters of realistic story /fiction should be believable.
5-The realistic story should reflect the culture and class in realistic way
6- The realistic story also deals with results of conflicts as violence, *ual oppression or other negativism as real and not for sensitization.
7-The language of realistic story should reflect the characters
8- There should be sensitivity to all people in the realistic  regardless to race, *, age, *ual orientation, social group, socioeconomic groups, religion,
9-The place may be imaginative but should look like real in realistic story
10- The time may be of any time or timeless in realistic story.
11- The tone of realistic story should be true
  The present story 'Dhuna' by Sayar is a realistic story of a widow. Maya becomes widow. Her in laws harass her and her elder brother in law wants to sell her. She comes to her 'Mayaka' for sheltering. However, they remarry her with an alcoholic person. Her drunk husband comes to home in morning and wants to take full benefits of her body.

The story 'Dhuna' by Sayar is a realistic story from all angles and deals with the pain of a widow remarried to a wrong person.

- से नी च बिसुध ह्वे गे

-पण तु त सरकरि अस्पताळ लीगि त छे कि ना ?

-हां लीगि छौ

-फिर ?

- फिर क्या , कंपोडर भैजिन बोलि बल मीन जु दवा दीण छौ , सि दियाल , जु करण छौ स्यु करि याल . अब डाक्टर साबम इ दिखाओ

-त डाक्टर साबम दिखै कि ना ?

- ज्यूँराम दिखाण ! डाक्टर साब त द्वि साल बिटेन मेडिकल छुटि पर छन अर अपुण पिराइवेट  कोट्द्वारम क्लिनिक चलाणा छन

- त जादि  दुसर पट्टी क अस्पताळम तै छ्वटु तै दिखैक ला

- ठीक च मि दुसर पट्टीक अस्पताळम जांदो

-- भैजि !भैजि ! म्यार नौनु सखत बीमार च . हमर  पट्टीक अस्पताळौ  कंपोडरन राय दे बल ये नौनु तैं डाक्टरम इ दिखाण जरुरी च . ये अस्पताळौ डाक्टर कै कुठडिम बैठद होला?

-भूलि ! तुमर अडगैं (क्षेत्र ) वळा  नसीब लेक अयाँ छन जु तुमर अस्पताळम कंपोडर ले च . इख त हमन डाक्टर क्या कंपोडरौ सूरत नि देखि .

-  भैजि, इन कनो ?

- कंपोडर मेडिकल छूटि पर जयुं च अर रिसिकेसम अपुण मेडिकल स्टोर चलाणु च .

-त सि यीं कज्याणि हथ खुटों पर पट्टी कैन बांधि ?

- स्या बिचारि डाळम भ्यूंळ छिंडार्नि छे कि थमाळि क चोट भ्यूंळो फौंटा छोड़िक वींका खुटुं पर लगि अर सड़म स्या भेळ जोग ह्वे गेखुट त कट्याइ च . हथ खुट बि टूटि गेन

-त जब ये अस्पताळम ना डाक्टर अर ना हि कंपोडर त यीं बिचारिअ  पट्टी कैन कार  ?

- भैरों ! हमकुण त सि स्वीपर  भैजि अर स्या वैकि घर्वळि हि भगवान , हकीम , डाक्टर चरक , लुकमान, अश्वनी कुमार (सर्जरी विशेषग्य ) सबि कुछ छन . तीनेक साल बिटेन दवा बि दीन्दन , बार बगत पर इंजेक्सन लगांदन अर जरूरत पोड़ी गे त चीर-फाड़ , पट्टी सट्टी बि करदन .

- ह्यां मेरो नौनु तै डाकटरौ  हि जर्वत च .

-त भूलि इन कौर सात मील दूर एक सरकारी अस्पताळ च जख डाक्टर बि च अर कंपोडर बि च। जा उख जा ..

-हां मि उखि जांदु 

-  हे  भैजि! हे  भैजि ! ये अस्पताळौ डाक्टर कखम बैठदन ?

-सि  समणि पर तपड़ा च ना उखमि डाक्टर अर कंपोडर घाम तपणा छन .

-घाम तपणा छन ?

- हां जब अस्पताळम दवा नि रालि त डाक्टर अर कंपोडरन  घाम इ त तपण ?

-मतबल ? दवा किलै नि छन

-द्वि छै मैना बिटेन इनि बुलणा छन बल दवा तै सरकरी मूस -लुखुंदर चपट करि जांदन अर सि छै मैना बिटेन तै तपड़ाम डाक्टर अर कंपोडर घाम तपणा रौंदन .

- ये मेरि ब्वे घाम तप्वा डाक्टरम किलै ये नौनु दिखौं ! सि बाट मा चाय वाळ  भैजि तै पुछ्दु बल कखि हैंको अस्पताळम  डाक्टर , कंपोंडर अर दवा सबि मीलु जावो

-ये चा  वाळ भैजि ! कखि इन अस्पताळ बि च जख डाक्टर , कंपोंडर अर दवा सबि मीलु जावो

There are arguments about Indian public distribution system that generally, consumers get inferior quality of food grains, deceitful dealers replace good supplies received from food Corporation with inferior supplies, many dealers make false ration cards and sell the supplies to open market, there are various types malpractices from the nexuses of government officials, politicians and dealers.
          Sawal Sarkari Galla Ko: Satire attacking Malpractices Indian public distribution system
                In this satire 'Sawal Sarkari Galla Ko' Prakash Dhashmana attacks on frauds, malpractices by government officials, politicians and businessmen in public distribution system. Prakash shows the minute details of complex system for mal practices by government officials, politicians and businessmen in public distribution system. The malpractices are making failure of basic purpose of Indian public distribution system.
The satire is in narrative style and there are dialogues too indirectly. Again, the satire is more in reporting form.

-तै बेशरम रिफौर्मौ धड्वे तै शरम बि नि आणि बल  मल्टि डाइमेन्सनल पौवर्टी इन्डेक्ष त बताणु च बल भारतै बड़ी भारी कुदशा च

-मीरा भारतीय भै -बैणि द्याखो अबि कुछ मैना पैलि  जु अखबार पत्रिका जन की इकोनोमिस्ट , वाशिंगटन टाइम्स कंळदारि व्यवस्था (आर्थिक व्यवस्था ) बाराम डामनमोहन सिंगै काट करणा छा सि अब बड़ा मंगणा छन

- अबे निरलजो ! भाड़म जावो त्यार इकोनोमिस्ट , वाशिंगटन टाइम्स का लेख . जरा जनता तै इन त बथादि  त सै बल गरीबी मामला मा त भारत अफ्रीकौ सब सहारा क्षेत्र से बि अग्वाड़ी च 

- हम तै गर्व च बल भारतम अंबानी , मित्तल , चड्ढा ,  बढा जन लोगुं आय बढ़ी गे

-ओ गर्व कु बच्चा ! एक तुरांक पाणिम डूबीक मोर . संसारक तेतीस प्रतिशत याने संसारक एक तियायी गरीब त भारत मा रंदन .

-   यां से बड़ी बात क्या ह्वे सकदी बल भारत म आज बढिया बढिया स्कूल जन दून स्कूल , मायो स्कूल छन 

- म्यासो घूसों रे तैक मुख पर . मुख काळो कारो तैक जु बुलणु च बल भारत म आज बढिया बढिया स्कूल जन दून स्कूल , मायो स्कूल छन। तै बड़ बोल्या तै बथाओ बल भारतम अधिसंख्य गरीबुं बच्चा या त स्कूल जाँदी नि छन अर जांदा बि छन त दर्जा पांच नि करदन। तै तै बथाओ खालि शहरोम इ लाखेक से जादा बच्चा त स्कूल जाणो जगा इनि गऴयूं मा घुमणा रौंदन फिर लाखेक बाल भिकारी छन . त  स्यू  स्कूलों बाराम क्यांक बडे करणु च?

-याँ से बड़ी बात क्या ह्वे सकद बल हमर देसम आर्थिक सुधारौ कारण  अब चिकित्सा सुविधा बढ़ी गेन . अपोलो , लीलावती जन आधुनिक अस्पतालों संख्या रोज बढ़नी च

- ए तै  मातबरों चमचाक जिबाड़ो चमड़ान सीलि द्यायो। आज बि भारतम रोज पांच साल से छ्वट उन्नीस हजार बच्चा मरणा रौंदन, बच्चों अकाल मृत्यु मामलम भारत कांगो, नाईजेरिया , पकिस्तान से बि अग्वाड़ी च           

-- आर्थिक सुधार नीति बदोलत आज भारतम केलोग, बौर्नविटा, कंप्लेन जन ब्रेंडू विक्री दिन दुगनी रात चौगुनी बढ़ी गे .

- ये तै बहुराष्ट्रीय कन्पन्यौ भोंपू मौणि  मडकाओ रे . दुन्या का कुपोषण ग्रसित तियाई बच्चा भारतम छन अर ये  मामलम भारत अफ्रीका से बि जयुं बित्युं देस च। भारतंम  बयालीस टका बच्चा औसतम कम वजनी छन याने अंडरवेट छन। बड़ो आयो बौर्नविटा, कंप्लेन जन ब्रेंडू विक्री बात करण वाळ! 

- मि ब्याळि मुकेश अंबानी क ड्यार ग्यो छौ त जों एक उदाहरण च बल आर्थिक सुधारों से भारतम रौणे समस्या दूर हुणी छन .

- अरे  तै धनपत्युं गुलामो भटयूड़ मुंगरान तोड़ी द्यायो .  आज बि करोड़ो भारतियुंम अपण बुलणों छत नी च . एक अंबानीक महल जन  कूड़ दिखैक आर्थिक सुधारों बडै करद तै बेशरम तै शरम  बि नि आणि

- भारतम अब मिनरल वाटर की बिक्रीम अत वृद्धि होणि च

- यार मीन तैक दांत तोड़ी दीणन हां . दूषित पाणि अर खुले आम झाड़ा वजे से इ 88 प्रतिशत लोगु तै  डाईरेयिया रोग हूंद अर हर साल सात लाख से जादा लोग डाईरेयिया बीमारी  से मोरदन

- त म्यार बोलणो मतबल च बल आर्थिक सुधार से फैदा इ फैदा छन

   Parrot and Smith (1993) define that envy, jealousy, greed, resentment, spite or covet occurs when a human being lacks other's perceived superior quality, accomplishment or ownership and wishes that the other lacked it. A definition of envy, jealousy, greed, resentment, spite or covet is that feeling of discontent because of lacking a ownership is envy, jealousy, greed, resentment, spite or covet. Envy and teasing others are two parts of a same coin- haves and haves not
   Asian satirist took a simple example of people envying on others those getting leave travel allowances from their employer. Asian satirist Bhishma Kukreti also tells how those get leave travel allowances from their employers tease others who don't get leave travel allowances. Asian satirist Kukreti is successful in showing humorously the kind of envy by those have not and showmanship by those have.
  The Asian satirist Bhishma Kukreti shows that the inner fight between those have and those have not is human nature.  Those have they tease those have not is also shown successfully in this satirical write by the Asian satirist Bhishma Kukreti. 
  The Asian satirist Kukreti uses narration in first person who does not have the facilities of leave travelling allowances from his employer but his own friends and relative have such facilities and they tease him.

              Famous Indian regional film maker Parashar gaur is also satirist. In present satirical write up 'Kulai marmat', famous Indian satirist depicts the habit of people criticizing for the sale of criticizing. In the said satire, famous Himalayan film personality and famous Indian satirist Parashar Gaur criticizes those are habitual of Much Ado about Nothing. Famous Indian satirist Gaur ridicules the intention of village councilor that criticizes a newly married woman with sari on her thigh because she is busy working in canal.
                 The language is simple and narration is in the form of story but ridiculing the wrong habit of Much Ado about Nothing.
